I did all I can do avoid him, in attempt to shut him out of my life completely

He does not understand the impacts his words had on me

I hate to admit, but I am the one who cried their damn eyeballs out, I am the one who barely got any sleep these days, I am the one who is regretting

During volleyball practices, I treated him just like a stranger, despite observing his spikes and write down things to improve

We weren't friends at this stage

We were just people who knew each other, only socialize when it's absolutely necessary

Yunaka and Serena were both rather concerned at the situation, I told them what happened and they were furious at Sakusa's words

I replied, I've been keeping track of a countdown

"Thank you, now that may sounds a lot but time flies so I hope you all keep up the good work, we are aiming high this year as well"

"Congratulations to Komori Motoya, Sakusa Kiyoomi and Emori L/n, who were chosen to participate in the Japan Youth Camp for volleyball"

My eyes widened in surprise

It is the Japan Youth Camp we're talking about, this is an one in a million chance, I would be lying if I'm not proud of them, even Sakusa

"The three of you will be expected to be at the camp 3 days from now on, the duration would be about 2 weeks, then you will return to prepare for the nationals"

Applauses sounded right after coach finished the sentence, I met the eyes of my brother, a small smile appeared at my lips at his exciting self

But no one noticed the reaction of a specific curly haired boy
