Appearance

Shouji stand at 5'11 and is one of the tallest among his squad. He have white hair that he let grow to the length of his neck and crystal blue eyes. His main outfit is a white Hakama with left shoulder plate along with grey pants and black combat boots. This outfit stays doubles as his Taimanin outfit in addition to more protectors and a mask to hide his face.

After his awakening in 2078, Shouji is given casual outfits that he just put on whatever match his mood today, but he usually wears a grey T shirt with blue pants and grey sneakers.

As indication of his possession by Amatsu, his hair grown longer, turning from white to jet black and his eyes changes colors into deep crimson. he usually taking off his hakama as it hinder his more wild style. Amatsu also appeared as a mouth with single eye when he's not possessing Shijou. which reminds Tatsuro of a certain character of his favorite show

Personality

As the result of being trained and indoctrinated by The Creed, Shijou normally appears as a cold and strict person. Having witness Demons under Amatsu-Mikaboshi razing entire cities in his eras, he becomes distrustful of them and consider "good" demons an exception rather than example. He is also shown to be terrifying in battle. As he wordlessly cut his enemies in half before they realize it. but no person ever have his great hatred other than Amatsu-Mikaboshi. as the two dislikes each other and struggle to control. Shijou dislikes the chaos god's "edgy Haikus" and complains about his imprisonment. while the God equally dislikes Shouji for being his cage and pretty much powerless to resist his command whenever Shouji wants to borrow his powers.  

Behind the facade, however. Shouji is a kindhearted man albeit slightly awkward because of the massive difference between him and his new comrades. Even for his time, He is known progressive. lacking the prejudice against lower classes like Peasants, even merchants and Burakumin (bad bloods) and pretty much uses his skill to help them when no one else won't even look at them in the eyes. That also include his treatment of women in general. While other men, even the religious monks sees them as "unclean and inferior". Shijou sees them as no different than him. and with no malicious intent behind this sentiment, too. As he respect Asagi for both her strength and willpower rather than ridicule her the moment he realized she's in charge. His awkwardness is his second most notable trait. Not only for the centuries of difference from him and his teammates, but also because of his status as a prison of Amatsu-Mikaboshi. 

Powers and abilities:

Semi Immortality: Ever since he became a Demigod thanks to fused with Amatsu-Mikaboshi, Shijou was granted potentially eternal youth and life. Most injuries are healed in just several seconds barring those of High Demon's powers. He is also immune to diseases that affected both humans and other creatures. Sakura even describe his aura as "A man who is close to Heavens". 

Swordsmanship: Shijou is master of his katana. As he never skip training even when he is not well, His sword skill had evolve to the point he is able to inflict the tinniest but deadly cut .He is also skilled enough to deflect and redirect bullets back to his enemies. 

Marksmanship: Shijou also a master in range attacks especially with Yokai Burst active. He can fire element spheres or arrows if he choose to become Jin. 

Fire manipulation: He can control Amatsu-Mikaboshi's "Star flames'. Said to be as hot as the sun and able to sear through the strongest demon hides. It's even able to burn off the blood of Dark beasts without losing his powers in the process. 

Speed: Shijou's already powerful speed is enhanced by Amatsu's energy, that he can bypass Edwin Black's barriers before it enclose on him.

Yokai Burst : by tapping to Amatsu's power. Shijou can enter into 3 demonic-like forms associated with Yokais and elements and also transformed his Katana into the respective weapons of the demons. Unknown to even Amatsu-Mikaboshi, everytime Shijou uses this power up, it slowly transformed him into a minor God. 

Momotaros

The Berserker of flames. Shijou's strength increased to several folds at the cost of him being slower than normally. His katana is transformed into the War club "Red Maul" that capable of unleashing powerful explosions to those unlucky enough in it's direction. His ultimate attack, Wrath of the Gods have him slamming Red maul into the ground to create explosions that chase the target and burned them to ash. 

Kazetarous

The Wind Demon specialized in speed based attacks. Shouji's katana and sheathe merges with his arms to form blades named "Blue Tempest"  that can cut near point blank bullets at his way. He is also able to fly at the speed of sound to reach his destination in less than minutes. His ultimate attack is "Windstorm". where Shouji summoned a powerful wind storm at his target's location. 

Gentarous 

The Magic Demon. Shouji's katana changes into "Omni" shapeshifting weapon although it usually take the form of a double edged sword. his main powers are combination of earth and waters where he can unleash "Gate of Yomi" ultimate attack.
