ARIA'S POV (point of view)

"But is this a good idea? I mean, leaving?" I can't do this, it's impossible. Even if we did abandon Rosewood, we would never survive. Never.

Emily didn't say a word over the phone so I hung up.

None of us are strong enough, we have family, high school, relationships... The list goes on but then on the flip side there are thousands of endless reasons why we have to evacuate out lie-filled town.

"Aria?" Mike knocked before automatically walking into my room. I scrambled towards the three huge bags I had laid out, ready to pack.

"Hey, Mike. Um er is everything okay?" I attempted to hide my get away duffels behind my back but I'm pretty sure they're all bigger than me.Crap. I'm packing for a school ski trip. That's my cover.

"I guess, I was gonna' ask you the same thing," he raised a brow and I froze.

"Yeah, Mike, I'm fine. Don't worry, aha... I just haven't had a lot of sleep recently. But I'm fine." He gave me the look, the one where he knows you're lying and you feel like you just have to tell him. "Okay, fine. Ezra and I are in a bit of an awkward space at the moment and I just don't know what to do."

Somehow, he saw through that one as well, the lies are piling and I can't tell him the truth. It hurts.

"Well, good thing he wasn't murdered by my best friend."

"Mike," I called but the door still slammed.

I want to scream, yell, break something! Anything! I just can't stand the lies anymore!

It's all Alison. Alison DiLaurentis started all this. Without her we would all be worrying about our future without knowing there are probably a dozen people that want us dead.
