BOOM!BOOM!
BOOM!
CARMEN BROWN fluttered her eyes open slowly, as she heard fainted sounds of someone knocking on the door. Carmen heard Tariq's phone buzzing on the nightstand, as Tariq woke up, and sat up on the bed. Tariq turned on his lamp, and picked up the phone from the nightstand.
"What's going on?" Carmen asked Tariq, as he looked down at the phone screen.
BOOM!
BOOM!
"NYPD! Open Up!"
Carmen's eyes grew wide, as she looked over at Tariq, who was typing something on the phone.
"What the fuck?" Carmen began to panic. "Shit, give me your phone, and put some clothes on." Tariq said, before getting up from the bed, and walking over to the fireplace. "Fuck." Carmen grabbed her phone off the dresser, and handed it to Tariq.
Tariq opened up the shed, and put both of their phones inside. Carmen grabbed her jumpsuit off the floor, and slid it back on, quickly. They both walked over to the door, and Tariq opened it up.
"Tariq St. Patrick. Go and grab your shoes. We need to bring you down to the station." The police officer said. "Station? For what?" Tariq questioned. "You'll find out when you get there." The police officer answered, making Carmen's heart drop.
Tariq and Carmen looked at each other for a second, before looking back at the police officers.

Carmen and Tariq walked into the police station, with police officers right behind them. They walked into the lobby area, and saw his little sister Yasmine sitting at a bench, all alone.
"Tariq!" Yasmine called out, as they both rushed over to her. "Oh my god! Yas! What are you doing here?" Carmen queried, as she hugged onto her, tightly "What happened? Where's grandma?" Tariq asked, as he caressed the bandaid on her forehead. "Back there." Yasmine answered, in a sad voice.
Tariq and Carmen look up, and see Saxe walking out a police room, making both of them stand up.
"The fuck are you doing here?" Tariq asked.
"Tariq, and Carmen. Hi. Davis MacLean sent me. We, uh, work together now." Saxe informed.
"Well, isn't that wonderful." Carmen said, sarcastically.
"Look, your grandmother got a DWI tonight and Davis asked me to come down to grease the wheels a bit. Everyone's okay. She just hit a parked car, but she's gonna be here a while." Saxe stated.
"Fuck." Carmen mumbled.
"Listen, I can get you a few minutes with her, while they process the case." Saxe offered, making Carmen sigh deeply. "Thanks." Tariq said, reluctantly and he nodded, before walking off. "I'll be back. You got her, right?" Tariq inquired. "Of course." Carmen replied, and he kissed her cheek.
"I'll be back, okay? A few minutes." Tariq assured Yas, before walking off.
Carmen took Yasmine's hand and lead her back to the bench, before she sat down. She then sat Yas on her lap.
