CARMEN BROWN walked up to Cane and Monet's cars, which were both parked next to each other. Monet rolled down her window and so did Cane, looking her up and down.
"Where's your little boyfriend at?" Monet asked. "Tariq is not my nigga. I'm not his keeper, so I don't know where the fuck he's at." Carmen said. "Well, he's late." Monet said. "What do you expect? We don't have cars." Carmen queried.
"So?" Monet retorted.
Carmen scoffed, before looking over and seeing Tariq, who was approaching the scene.
"Does papi know I'm back, yet?" Cane asked, as he got out the car, along with Monet.
"Yep, and he's gonna know, if you fuck it up too." Monet answered.
"Hey, what's up?" Tariq spoke, standing beside Carmen.
"Not now, Tariq." Carmen replied, making him sigh.
"Hey, you late, nigga." Cane spoke, referring to Tariq.
"What's he doing here?" Tariq asked.
"He belongs here. Cane found a new connect, so we all back in business together." Monet answered, making Carmen furrow her eyebrows.
"He found the connect?" Carmen queried.
"Yes." Monet replied
Hm. So Diana's theory might be right. Carmen thought.
"Now, whatever beef y'all still got going. Y'all need to squash that shit, right now." Monet announced.
Tariq stood there, glaring at Cane, who had a smirk plastered on his face.
"Y'all hear me?" Monet asked, and Tariq nodded, along with Carmen.
"So, you trust him again?" Tariq asked. "I need product and so do you. This is what's best for all of us. The greater good. You get that, don't you?" Monet explained. "Yeah." Tariq replied. "We get it." Carmen added.
"Good. Now, Cane don't be fucking with him and the way he does business." Monet said. "Yes ma'am." Cane said. "Aight." Monet replied, heading back to her car. "Whoa, hold up, hold up. I need the money up front." Cane voiced. "Oh, you don't trust me all of a sudden?" Monet quizzed.
"New connect, new rules." Cane remarked. "Fucking mess." Monet spatted, throwing a stack of money at Cane, causing him to catch it. "Make sure you run me my shit back." Monet told Tariq, and Carmen, as she got in the car.
