Chenle sat in his pitch black room thinking about what Jisung said to him over and over

He was right I am an attention seeker looking for love from everyone, am I selfish for feeling like I should have at least one person who loves me

Suddenly a light knock was heard on the door

"Chenle honey dinner is ready please come down and eat it's been almost a week now I-I'm really worried"

Chenle looked down at the floor

Well if you were so worried and concerned then maybe you shouldn't of married that disgusting man

She sighed and suddenly someone started beating on the door aggressively

"OPEN THE DOOR"

Step dad is back at it again

That's right "step dad" after his dad died his mother remarried instantly almost like she didn't care about his father at all

"ZHONG CHENLE"

Chenle walked up to the door and opened it speaking to his step dad in a calm tone

"Can you please leave me alone please just for a few more minutes"

The man grabbed Chenle collar and slapped him across the face

"You don't tell me what to do I'm your father now come down and eat"

Out of nowhere Chenle bursted into laughter and stood on his feet

"Father...you think your my father. As far as I know I don't have a father"

mr. Zhong clenched her fists full of anger

"Zhong chenle don't talk to your father that way!"

Chenle looked at her for a few minutes

"I really...hate you"

She looked at her son eyes brimmed with tears

"Y-you don't mean that we love you Chenle really we just want to make you feel better"

Chenle huffed and walked back in his room slamming and locking the door behind him

"WELL IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE JUST FORGOTTEN DAD LIKE THAT!!"

Mrs. Zhong put her head down she couldn't even argue back because she knew every word he spoke was the truth she did everything she could to get over their father drinking, hanging with friends to distract herself and now marrying a man she isn't even in love with

Mr Zhong huffed

"Let's go we don't need to worry about him"

She stood there silently

"I said let's go!!"

She flinched and quickly followed him in tears
