2. Change

The next day after Monami's wedding was fixed...

" Monami, Monami please open the door dear. Have some food. " I said while tapping  the door of my Sorella  { elder sister } room. When I was back from my Musical class I was very much excited to meet Monami after nearly 2 days. As I entered in , I saw the mansion getting decorated , on further enquiry I got to know that it's for Monami 's wedding.

I was damn sure that it was against her wish because she was never interested in these marriage stuff . Who else could fix her marriage except my father, ohh sorry heartless father who was never their for us  . I never spoke against him but today he crossed all the limits. I have kept all my anger within me as Monami always made me understand that he is our father after all .

 But today I wasn't able to stop myself  , just when I decided to leave to ask him for my answers , I stopped hearing our one of the maid saying " Monami signora { Mam }  is not having food since yesterday."  I got worried listening this . In spite of my anger I had just not thought how would her condition might be , what she might be feeling .

 Without wasting any time I rushed up stairs only to find her door locked and here I am waiting for her to open it , since it was a very long time she was not opening the door. I got many disturbing thoughts in my mind , I tried best to overcome it but in vain . Tears made way through my cheeks and not being left with any other option I said " Monami , please open the door or else I will go far away from you " She opened the door,  dry tears were visible all over her face but before I could say something ..

I was not able to think of anything else except my father 's decision to get me married for the sake of his profit . How selfish he had become , how heartless . He was the same years ago since koel disliked him but I made her believe that whatever he does its good for us and we must respect his decisions . But the day he fixed my marriage without my consent , my trust on him which I made all these years just to justify him broke into pieces , Just like my dreams.

 With full of sadness I was in my room since yesterday , when I heard Koel tapping my room door . Neither I had the ability to  face her nor  I wanted to have food  I decided not to open it , just when she asked me to open the door or else she will go far away from me . I slapped her hard , she surely knew why I did so . Except her who did I have in this world to share my pain , just a nominal father . She hugged me tight , But I didn't hug her back . 

" Sorella.,  I regret to have spoken this to you but I care for you ,  and you were not opening the door and this was the last option you left me with . " She said while crying bitterly.

"Sorella  I am sorry that I made you speak those words . Now calm down " I said while titillating her hairs and hugged her back.

" At only one condition , if you have food with me " She said and before waiting for me to answer she made me sit on the bed and asked our maid to bring food for us . Till the food came she dragged me and took me to the washroom for washing my face , I denied but this girl would never listen to me .

She fed me and I fed her like we always do . We were enjoying our sisters time when a negative thought made an entry in my mind , that after the marriage I would not be able to meet her much nor would feed her so lovingly . I would be at least having someone to talk in my in law's house I expect but she .. 

" Sorella  why are you changing expressions like these ? " she asked while taking her last bite from my hand 

" Nothing Koel it's just nothing leave it " I said trying to cover up as I don't want to spoil this moment of ours.

" I know Monami what are you thinking that after your marriage we will not be together " She said with seriousness in her voice making me surprised,  this girl understands me really well.

" yes Koel I was thinking the same " I said with dejected voice 

" Hmm So what about running off from these wedding ? " She said making me astonished, how could she even think of it.

" What are you saying koel ? " I said but she smirked and I know what she was upto.

" To run off from the wedding " She repeated and I made an annoying face.

" Koel we can't do this, If we  go anywhere in this world our father will find us in few seconds " I said trying to reject her  idea.

" Stop giving her this stupid ideas Koel or else you will also be wedded off " My father said while entering in the room 

" Yes surely do that Mr.Mahajan, this is the only thing you could do to us . How easy it is for you to wed your daughters against their wish , how easy it is for you to give them pain and tears " Koel said with much anger , I tried stopping her from speaking further but she was in no mood to do so.

" You both come with me immediately " My father said in cold voice.

" No we won't " Koel said opposing. 

" You want to know right, that why I had fixed your sister's alliance without her consent " My father said 

" We surely know that's for the sake of your so called profit " Koel said with the anger rising in her every second.

" For the very first time in my life , I'm explaining you both that why I took this decision " My father said in a normal voice which made me much surprised.

Ever since mom left us he never talked  this way . Also something which surprised me more was Koel kept shouting and my father kept answering without getting that angry but why ? A sudden change after 21 years how did it occur ?
