15. Oblivion

I drove off to the Mansion , thinking of the fatherly figure I got. I didn't changed my suit as I had something to do. 

 " Wake up wifey , its 8:30 " I sat on the bed while caressing her hairs in order to wake her up .

" uhh Karan I was just thinking if I can sleep longer " She said and pulled the quilt all over her again .

 " There are some exciting things planned something fun today in our schedule , but seems like my holiday is a waste , Bye Wifey I am off to office . Will meet you at night. " I said and tried to go when she woke up with a jerk and caught my hand .

" I didn't know about the plan right? That was the reason I didn't woke up . Anyways see I am up now! So you are not going to office ." She said with her messy hairs and sweet smile .

" Yeah! So go and freshen up now " I said .

I kissed her forehead and she smiled " I am always there with you Dear " I whispered .

 She got up from the bed and walked a distance and looked like she had not got something. I probably knew what it was .

" Your clothes are beside my cupboard , Wifey " I said .

" How do you know what was I thinking? " She asked being perplexed .

" Just like you do " I said and she made a 'O' Face .

" Get Ready soon! If you want I'll send somebody to help you up " I said .

" I don't like this royal treating I'll just do it myself . " She said , I shrugged my shoulders and left the room .

It was 10 mins since I am down waiting ..Monami was currently up freshnening up , when I received a call from Faizi. 

" Where have you been Faizi? I tried calling you but you didn't answered you just left a Message that you are in U.S safe and sound. " I immediately fired him with questions .

" Firstly , cool down! I have something really bad to share " Faizi said in a tense voice .

" Go on " I said .

" Koel called on your phone last night to inform that Mr.Mahajan's surgery turned out to be a success but unfortunately his body didn't responded after the surgery and he slipped into coma  .  Instead of you I picked up the call and got to know .So , I flew to U.S and I am here with Koel . there was no issue in the surgery it was the genuine reaction of the body . There's no need to sue the hospital . Stay rest assured I'll take care here." He said while I wondered how much did he knew me? 

" What did the doctor say? When he'll be out of coma? " I asked him .

" Possibly in a week or never " He said and I got tensed .

" Faizi please take care of him and Koel " I said 

" Sure. Remember to take care of security- " Faizi said 

" Yes , the security of Mansion is increased to 10 times , all the time there is someone around Monami , the no.of security rooms are increased , password has been changed , the doors for entry and exit are now different. " I said .

" I was talking about you. I trust you . I know you are strong , able to protect yourself but I don't trust our enemies . So better take care of yourself and remember not to go alone! BODYGUARDS EVERYWHERE . " Faizi warned me and cutted the call , I smiled at his concern .

Monami came down and I kept looking at her. Recent days are not really bringing her happiness . Her getting kidnapped , her past showing up and suddenly her father going into coma . I wondered why she has to go through all this pain?Can't I do something? . 

She is already tensed and yet not recovered from the things here is another storm waiting for her. I was out from my thoughts when she snapped her fingers in front of my face .

" Day dreaming , getting lost can lead to a serious disease- " She said 

" Well , I think then you'll surely find the cure for this disease then " I said and she blushed .

" Stop it... " she said .

" Sure My Lady..Please have a seat for your breakfast ." I said 

" What about you? " She said 

" My stomach will be full just by watching my wife eating. " I said 

" Sounds good but it doesn't work actually,  you see Hubby . Now sit together with me and have food ." She said and pulled me onto the chair.

Our people are not here to help us as I thought we needed some WE time. Only the people for cleaning purposes are here . We had our breakfast and we both stood up .

" So , where have to we go Karan? " she said .

" Someone said it's better to give a surprise as its really suspenseful, when it was my time" I said .

" Why don't you apply your  thinking or philosophy , why do you always choose to copy me? and Why on Earth do you remember this line? " She said irritated .

" When the words are said by a beautiful lady , they are automatically remembered and said and that's not copying my dear " I said .

" Stop flirting " She said and headed towards the parking area .

I followed her while she had a frown on her face while I gestured her to head up for the Black Car.   As I said the day is something special for her she can't be angry.

The Car was filled up with pink balloons , teddies , and with all the cute stuff. I hope she liked it.

" Aww Thank You so much " she smiled and hugged me and I knew by now that she was no more angry . 

" There's no need to thank your husband Wifey " I said leaning closer to her ears . 

She immediately tried to get out of my hold but I didn't let her do . 

" Karan let's go . We are getting late " She said .

I smiled and left her . She didn't knew where were we going but still managed to gave me a excuse of time. She is really not able to lie or speak when I am closer . 

I sat and started driving not to mention our men were behind us . Faizi's security reasons!
