Chapter Fifty One

I smile as I watch the car drive off as the car almost leaves I see Alex pop his head out the window and wave to me and I wave back my smile reaching my lips. I keep waving until the car disappears from view.
"Who was that?" Annas' voice startles me and I jump to face her 
"Oh, uhm it was.." 
"Was it Alexander?" she moves past me trying to get a view but the car already left 
"Did he say something? did he want to see me?" I furrow my eyebrows and tilt my head at her questions. Why would alexander want to see her?
She notices my expression and comes to hold my arms 
"Oh, Alara I got so much to tell you I forgot you don't know" I would ask what I didn't know but I'm scared that I'm connecting the dots 
"Oh Alara after papas funeral Kean and Alonso come up to me they said they wanted me to get married to alexander  they said he was ready for it and I signed the papers oh Alara-" I pull away from her grip and take two steps back
"you signed the papers"I look up to her and her joyfully expression flattens 
"Well of course who would deny a proposal from a men when he looks like well looks like Alexander blade" she chuckles but I just stare at her with my mouth open wide  
I finally realize a chuckle and shake my head 
"you were right in front of our eyes god how didn't we see it how didn't I see you its always you" I can't dare look at her right now
" what?" she questions walking closer but I back away lifting my head towards her 
"It's always you, always! since we were younger you got everything I wanted, do you know how happy I was when papa explained your situation to me I thought it was a sign I practically begged him to keep you to.. to give me a sister I wanted to play in the mud with, go on dirty missions with, to do stupid crap  that would probably get us into trouble with... instead, you became the daughter everyone wanted." I use my hand to move the hair from my face
"The daughter who wore puffy gowns made her hair in a bun, would wake up on time and not speak a word when told to you were what everyone wanted that no one dared to look at me it fucking bothered me that no one cared that I was actually dolas daughter not you" I shake my head stalking towards her "But I couldn't say anything because I picked you I wanted you and I let it go cause I wanted you more than some stupid attention but you? you never wanted me you  wanted to be me" I stare at her flustered face  
"you couldn't blame me Alara" she spoke softly "you couldn't blame me for wanting fifteen people after me in the morning besides you never did what asked-" 
"Doesn't mean I didn't want it" I cut her off but she shakes her head 
"I...I  never meant to hurt you I just did what they wanted" she shrugs flustered on trying to find the right words 
I laugh and lift my shoulders 
"yeah by talking everything I wanted, and now?" I drop my shoulders the pain in my voice visible "You're taking my children's father away from them" her face freezes and her mouth gapes open.
"yeah, anna I'm pregnant with twins. I wanted to tell you that you were going to be an aunt but funny enough you wanted to be their mother too by marrying their father"She shakes her head tears filling in her eyes 
but I couldn't handle it not today I turn around and walk inside her calls for my name not affecting me.

The creak of the door makes me groan and slowly open my eyes, Annas slim petite figure meets my lien of view and I sit up throwing my hair in a ponytail
"Alara" I could hear her voice full of tears
I open the night light and rub my eye to adjust to the light.
"Anna?.." I look at the clock on the wall "It's three in the morning" I yawn looking at her with frowned eyebrows 
"I can't sleep knowing how I hurt you Alara, you were right Alara I was jealous I wanted to be you" she sits on the edge of the bed shaking her head as she wipes her face with tears only then do  I realize the papers shes holding in her other hand but I pay attention back to her.
" And you, you didn't listen to anyone you acted like you didn't care and I just I couldn't hold anymore Alara I'm sorry I'm so sorry" She stands up now wiping her tears and I shake my head holding her free hand 
"Anna? it doesn't matter we'll talk later" I try to calm her down  but she shakes her head 
"No no Alara I cant move on knowing I hurt you, knowing I  might  ruin your future, No! Alara I'm not going to ruin your children's life "she looks  down at me placing the papers in front of me, I look at the papers in front of me before looking up at her 
"  I signed all of the documents on splitting this arrangement all he has to do is sign them Alara and" she starts pacing back and forth in the room and I look at the papers in front of me
She signed them? Anna signed them?
"Who the heck are you?" Anna's voice makes me snap my head dup to see a man in the doorway, his tall figure was covered in black clothes, and his face was covered by a ski mask. He doesn't say anything yet brings a gun aiming it at my head 
"Alara!" annas voice rings through the room along with the ring of the gun I see her stand in front of me before I look away  to find the blade under my pillow and swing it towards the man the blade hits him right by his chest and he hits the wall 
"Protect the future blade child, Dola" the means thick accent voice rings in my ears as he points a finger towards me.
I look down to see anna on the ground the bullet wound on her lower chest, the blood staining her clothes 
"Anna!" I jump off the bed running to her side picking her up on my lap 
"Anna, god anna" she smiles weakly at me 
"Oh Alara, your kids are going to be beautiful and strong" she smiles playing with my hair and I pull my lip bottom lip in my mouth 
" Guards!, Guards fucking get some guards here!"
"Im so sorry Alara I couldn't be the sister you wanted" She finds my hand and I grip it back shaking my head
"No no anna you were everything I wanted everything I needed anna," Her eyelids start to drift and I shake her gently 
"No anna stay with me stop please I'm sorry Anna, Please anna you can't, my children need they're aunt anna please I need my sister" she smiles again and takes a deep breath 
"I'm always going to be there for them"... she smiles looking down at my stomach then back at me "I'll always be there for you.."Her chest rises and her eyes roll back 
"No no Anna Anna, Guards! Fuck" I try to lift her but the bloodstains my arms and the floor until the guards finally reach the room halting by the door as they see the scene.
