EXT. OUTSIDE THE MANSION. NIGHT.
JOHN shouts from afar as SARA keeps her phone filming everything.
JOHN
Sara! Come check this out!
SARA runs to JOHN's voice as the two of them find an open cellar door.
It just opened.
SARA
A way in.
JOHN
It could be a trap.
SARA
It probably is.
SARA shrugs.
Well, this should be fun, we're coming.
SARA walks in as JOHN follows down the steps and into the BASEMENT.
Ok so be prepared for anything....woah.
They discover a giant hole where the spell circle used to be.
Please don't tell me that's where they are.
JOHN
I mean... dark pits aren't ideal but that's usually where all the action is.
SARA sighs.
SARA
Great, just really going out of my comfort zone but it'll be worth it!
SARA walks over and lowers herself into the hole as she enters a cramped cave system.
Ok, we're in a cave now. Hooray.
JOHN enters as the two looks around.
So left or right?
JOHN
Um, I'd say the direction with a wooden door.
SARA
A what?
SARA and JOHN walk to the end of the cave to find a red wooden door.
Who puts a door in a cave?
JOHN
Apparently, ghosts do. Guess we have to open it?
SARA
Maybe it'll be locked?
JOHN turns the door handle and opens the door.
JOHN
Nope.
The two walk into a blinding white light.
INT. BASEMENT. A LIFETIME AGO.
SARA and JOHN enter a clean version of the basement with a human LUCY, SAMI, and ANNIE all sitting in a golden spell circle. Holding hands over the circle.
LUCY
And then we combine our energies and pray to the goddess.
