Chapter 1

Amber's POV.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock at 8 because i have a long ride ahead of me from Atlanta to Mystic Falls. I said goodbye to my friends last night.

i stripped out of my clothes and stepped into the shower for about 30 minutes enjoying the feel of hot water on my skin then i wrapped a towel on myself and dried my blonde hair then i curled it a bit.

i chose my outfit which was a cropped white tank crop top that says 'You cant sit with us', black skinny jeans and a leather jacket with a grey beanie, and black leather boots. I did a smokey eye, then put on concealer, blush and lipstick.

Then I got into my gorgeous black Camaro and started driving and after many hours i finally reached the 'Welcome to Mystic Falls' sign and went to the grill.

i entered and suddenly people started whispering and once again i was in the center of attention as always, I have a body that girls envy and gets guys drooling over

i left last year after my parent's death which was after i graduated by a few days but i never went to college, it may seem weird but it just not really my thing i mean the frat parties are amazing but the education part is not, so i never did.

Then i sat next to a really hot guy at the bar and ordered a bourbon then i turned to Mr. Sexy and started looking him up and down.

He has raven black hair, icy blue eyes, perfect pink lips, strong jawline and cheekbones and he had a dark attire that suits him perfectly and everything about him screams dangerous, he seemed like the kinda guy your parents wouldn't approve of then second they saw him, and he probably had girls lining up. He saw me looking him up and down,

"Yes, can I help you" he said smirking a very sexy smirk hinting that I was staring

"No, i just thought your hot" he seemed surprised with my answer, he probably expected me to be one of those girls that'd be blush or giggle at this point but those girls are way too girly for my type.

The bartender came with my drink and i muttered a 'thanks' and took a sip then i turned to Mr. Sexy only to see him checking me out this time.

" Well you could at least tell me your name before you start eye raping me" i smirked

"Im Damon.Damon Salvatore" even his name is perfect, and his velvety sweet voice

"I'm Amber Gilbert" i told him nicely

"wait did you say gilbert, as in Elena and Jeremy Gilbert" he seemed surprised and confused, but god hearing their names only makes me miss them even more

"yeah, Lena's my little sister and Jer's my little brother"

"why didn't she mention a sister" he muttered more to himself than me confused and i needed to help the poor clueless guy out

"well i left about a year ago after my graduation which was a few days after my parent's funeral and everyone was devastated but i needed time to cope so left, but i missed them too much and even though i had friends back in Atlanta, my friends here have been with me almost my whole life so i couldnt just leave themfor good. I knew i was being selfish with leaving but i felt like i was suffocating here with memories of them everywhere" I explained

"well im-" he started saying but was cut off by someone yelling my name so i turned and saw matty blue running to me, he then lifted me up off the ground and pulled back and started his cute rambling

"Amber what the hell when did you get back in town how long have you been here does anyone know yet oh i missed you so much its different without you here I'm not letting you leave again i missed you so much well we need to tell everyone god I'm so happy right now-"

he was rambling really fast and i didn't even get most of it so i got him off by putting my hand on his mouth and said

"A. i got back in town almost an hour ago and B. no one knows I'm back yet and C. i missed you too so much"

Im the towns party girl and a dare devil, no wonder the lockwood parents don't like me. I went skinny dipping in the Lockwood fountain but don't blame me it was a dare and i was a little drunk.

"well i got to go have a nice family reunion so see ya soon matty"

i left the grill and made my way to the house then i knocked on the door but no one answered but i did hear yelling so i let myself in and went into the kitchen where i saw my cute siblings arguing and Bonnie, and Caroline trying to calm them down.

no one noticed me yet so i stealthily made my way behind elena and quickly quickly kissed her cheek and she turned startled till she saw me and her eyes widened and mouth open in shock and the same expression on all their faces

" wha-wh-Am-AMBER?!!!??!!"

"No its Santa, Im here to see who's good and who's naughty" i said mocking

they still stood frozen so i walked over to them and hugged them both in a group us and they responded quickly and i heard cry and sob while i laughed and let a few tears fall.

"Hey guys" i said to my childhood best friends when i was enveloped in a bear hug from them

"We missed you so much" Bonnie said

"Its so good have you home" Carline said

"I know, Its good to be home" i said Sincerely
