I let the light fill the flat when we entered it. I was glad we finally made it to the warmth of it. Harrison insisted on seeing some 'cool stuff' in our neighbourhood and I found out that it was rather boring. The only place worth visiting, an old tavern with roleplay nights, was closed due to the renovation. We wandered around for a couple of minutes and I came to the conclusion that this coat was not made for long evening walkabouts, it's only purpose was to make the wearer look cool and distinguished at the same time. By the time we reached the doorway of our reception, I was freezing to death and the wind was nibbling my poor bones. The 15th of February was already well into its first hour as I felt my eyelids getting heavier and heavier with every passing second although I tried to look fresher than I felt.

We got out of our winter robes and Harrison made his way straight to the sofa, "is this my bed for tonight?" He said pointing to that obviously small piece of furniture for him.

"If you could fit your enormously long legs there then be my guest but to be honest my plan was to have the people sleep either in my bed or on a spare mattress on the floor."

"So you're telling me you would let any of the people in that group sleep with you in your bed." Wide grin appeared on Harrison's face as he spoke.

I rolled my eyes at him, "not anyone," I said annoyed because he knew what I meant.

"What about me?" I looked up to see if he was mocking me nonetheless his expression showed he was genuinely curious.

I put on my best smirk and said in the most flirty voice: "Only if you are not such a messy sleeper as your sister." The wink I sent him came out of me like an instinct and I was both surprised and shocked by my own actions. Harrison must have been taken by surprise as well when his expression changed to surprise and then back to grinning.

The hot water was dripping down my body sending the warmth of it to every part of my body. My showers usually consisted more of standing under the hot water than actually cleaning my body. I was going through all of the moments of today and was thinking if I had actually flirted with Liz's brother in our living room or not. I was taken back not only by whom I was flirting with but by how natural it felt to me as well. I was never good at flirting, never knew how to, what kind of word choice should I be using or how to use the proper body language. Yet here I was winking at my best friend's brother in a flat with just the two of us. Hopefully, he was not thinking that I would want some physical connection between us tonight. Oh God, I was overthinking again. We were just two friends chilling in the same apartment five feet apart cause we are not into each other. 'I have to get out of this hot place, it makes me think,' were my thoughts.

When I opened the door to my bedroom there I saw Harrison on the floor with my favourite guitar trying to play some chords or it just seemed like it. He went to shower before me because I always took too long. The fact that he had not any kind of spare clothes here led to him being dressed in The Popsicles latest merch, a black shirt and a pair of pink sweatpants, that we were selling during our last tour. I managed to steal some of it and found out later that most of it were male sizes and I was not able to fit into it. Since then it was stored in one of my drawers waiting for a situation like this to come.

"Do you even know how to play that thing?" I laughed at him sitting down on my bed. He was so focused on my guitar it was almost comedic yet he somehow managed to look rather charming. His still damp dark blond hair falling to his face with little waves forming on them and his ocean blue eyes which seemed darker in the dim light of my room. He threw me an annoyed look after playing a set of chords totally wrong. I couldn't help myself but laugh some more and stick my hand out motioning to him to give me the guitar. "Let me show you how it's done." I played some chords which were my go to when I wanted to impress people with my guitar skills.
