The sun was unbearable. I could feel its light piercing right through my linen shirt now soaked in sweat. Today was officially the worst day we had spent in this god forgotten land. My feet were hurting like hell, from being used since four in the morning, beside feeling like they had been set on fire. When I looked around to check out the area we had been filming that day and saw a group of people that any passerby would have described as strange. Few of them had guard uniforms, others had simple clothing close to mine and only one of us was dressed as a normal person from the 21st century.

We had all been walking towards a massive hole in the middle of, as the script had said, 'Desert of The Blamed'. As far as the script went the place should have been a stony kind of desert without any sign of living creatures or a plant. However, as far as locations around New York City went there were not many spaces that could live up to that particular description. Was it full of stones and boulders of any size? Yes. Did I nearly unalived myself trying to get the best camera shot? Yes. Did it have a few little scrawny-looking bushes? Yes, unfortunately. Nevertheless, I was more than impressed that the production team was able to find place like this near the city I had been living in for so many years. I should really step up my geography game.

When I was just a few steps from the hole (there was not really a hole, it was just a piece of green screen thrown on the ground for there were no hole or cliffs in this area) a voice raised just behind me with a warning tone.

"Stop! You are too close. We still don't know what can be hiding in it." I searched through the small group and found the source of it.

"She is hiding there. I can feel it," I took another step towards the green screen, "besides we don't have any other option if we want to reunite all the guardians," I added fully focused on the green fabric without sparing a glance at the crowd forming behind me.

"And do you feel how we get there?" Jack's (Harrison's character) voice emerged from beside me and I sent a glare in his direction. "Whoah, I was just asking. Don't have to fry me up with your glare too, the sun is doing that already."

"We should set up the tents to protect ourselves from the torture of the sunlight first and then figure out how to find The Guardian of Fire without getting killed," all the eyes were on Garam (Levi's character) our group leader. He turned to Calpurnia (Evangeline's character), "could you do that for us?" she just nodded in response and raised her hands.

"CUT!" the voice of our director intensified with a megaphone sounded through the wilderness. My body immediately relaxed and so did everyone else's. "Great job guys. Get yourselves some water and if you need to we have medics here as well. Don't underestimate it, the weather is cruel so don't hesitate to ask for help when you feel something might be wrong. We'll continue before dawn with the fight scene till then get some rest and eat up!" Lily did not have to repeat her words twice. As soon as she ended her sentence everyone headed towards the sanctuary of any shade that was in our radius.

"Here you go, your fan my lady," Liz handed me a little hand fan when I reached the nearest tent, "and say cheese!" Before I could protest she took a photo of me and it was not the most flattering angle may I add.

"Liz, please," I blocked her lens with my hand, "I'm sweating like a pig."

"It gives your skin a nice shine." I glared at her. "Maybe next time then. I have some water for you," she reached out to her bag and took out a bottle of clear and cold water. I thanked her and poured it right into my throat. "Slowly or you'll have a sore throat," she warned me, "I wanted to get you some food as well but I didn't know what your preference for today would be."

"Anything, really. I'm starving."

"Alright then. I'll be right back. You sit down and relax." She turned on her heel and headed in the direction of the food truck.
