"Where were you chica," asked Ariel as she carefully started putting her eyeliner on. "I was just with Ellis at the club" replied Alice as she watched her sister attempt the impossible. It was a well-established fact amongst their friends that Ariel was the worst at putting eyeliner on, no matter how hard she tried, Ariel was just physically incapable of applying eyeliner accurately, so that's why Alice always volunteered to do it for her. "Don't get too down on yourself chica, you're still great at other stuff that I could never do" said Alice as she put the finishing touches on her sister's face. "Thanks, A" smiled Ariel as she started applying purple mascara. "Alice since you're here I want to tell you two things," said Ariel as she put her mascara away. "sure, what's up," asked Alice casually

"First, I called Roxie to let her know what happened yesterday and she assured me that she would get the message to our father. She also mentioned that she would leave our names out if it" smiled Ariel.

"And second, I was thinking about possibly starting the search for my birth parents," said Ariel. "Wow, just wow," said Alice shocked and surprised. "I know it's a lot to take in, believe me, this was not a last-minute decision" explained Ariel as she turned to face her best friend. "You know I'll support you, no matter what" replied Alice as both girls hugged. "I know you will, and I'm thankful for that, but I hope you know that just cause I'm searching for my birth parents doesn't mean I love you or our parents any less" reassured Ariel as she let go of her sister. "I know that, but it is nice to hear it coming from someone other than myself" mumbled Alice.

"Now that we've discussed the hard stuff you have got to tell me about that blonde Adonis you were talking to last night" winked Alice as Ariel blushed at the thought of meeting Wyatt. "Well his name is Wyatt Michaels and he's an English major at NYU. He's studying to become a writer unlike the rest of his family who are all journalists, then he asked about me what I do for a living and I told him about my internship and moving here with you" started Ariel. "So what else happened," asked Alice eagerly. "Nothing, we were interrupted by the arrival of those two poachers" answered Ariel as she rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Well, please tell me you at least got Wyatt's number before running off" questioned Alice. "How dare you doubt my skills," said Ariel as she started to walk away before turning to her sister. "Yes I did get Wyatt's number" smiled Ariel as she continued strolling out of the room
