Hiraeth

It's longing, longing for something

Was it even there

Is it possible

How long do I have to wait

I'm missing someone

Yet I never met them

I'm longing for a home to get back to

Though I've never been there

Take me places, where I belong

Where I've been waiting to go

The one where I'd say, "Finally, I've been waiting"

With a mix of feelings of happiness for the first time yet nostalgia

They say it's yearning for a home you can't go back to

or never was.
