Midnight Snacks

Chapter 1

Midoriya was tired

Tired and hungry

He wanted to go get food but he was too tired to get up

But he couldn't sleep because he was hungry

Needless to say he was truly conflicted on what to do

After about twenty minutes of groaning and whining he decided to walk to the nearest 7/11 to get some snacks

This was Izuku Midoriya, aka Deku, one of the biggest names for Vigilante's in Japan.

He was currently staying in an apartment with his best friend, and partner in crime, Rody Soul and his two siblings.

He got his ass out of bed and walked to the living room where Rody was currently watching Twilight. 

" Yo Rody, I'm gonna go get some snacks from 7/11, I'll be right back." Midoriya said, seeing as Rody's soul practically leapt out of his body.

" Holy shit dude! I didn't even hear you. What are you Edward Cullen. I need to put a bell on you this is like the tenth time this has happened this week." Rody shrieked holding his hand over his chest

" Shut up, you comin or what?" Deku asked seeing Rody stretch before getting up

" Yea. Lets go. Might as well get something for Roro and Lala." Rody said grabbing his keys and wallet before the two headed out the apartment.

Midoriya smiled as he and Rody walked down the street together. He'd never imagine having someone by his side.

The two met around two years ago. Midoriya was 14, broke, and already given up on by everyone in his life.

Rody was the same but had his two younger siblings to watch over.

Rody was a transfer student, and unlike everyone else in that damned school, actually liked Midoriya. Didn't mind his presence,  would answer questions about his quirk without second thought. Of course that meant he was also another punching bag for the school.  But despite that he still stayed with him. No matter how much Deku would try to persuade him to leave and forget him, he never did.

It was near the end of the school year. Rody had left school early and Midoriya was by himself in a classroom. Well...Until he wasn't

He doesn't really remember much of what happened in that classroom. He could only remember a few sentences.

"Swan Dive.."

"Useless"

"Rooftop."

"Next life."

"Notebook."

 But he remembers the burning pain on his shoulder 

And the feeling he felt when he was left alone again in the classroom looking out an open window

And he remembers every single thing after he left the classroom.

Feeling his body being overtaken by a sludge villian, how he felt like he was drowning.

Meeting his hero just to be left alone on a rooftop deprived of hope and any remaining will to keep going

Seeing Bakugou, scared as he was being overtaken by the same sludge villain.

Being scolded and shunned while Bakugou was praised

But what he mostly remembers is the look on Rody's face in the crowd with his siblings. Him, running up to him and embracing him, scared to let him go. The sounds of Roro and Lala crying asking if he was okay

That day was like a spark lighting up a brand new firework

" This entire society is fucked up.  We've both seen and experienced it. But we can can do something. Fuck being a hero and Fuck being a Villain. You and I are gonna help people, not for the sake of money, fame, or some stupid fucking ranking or title. But because we want to. You're a classified genius and could probably create some super awesome machinery that would probably equivalate to having a damn quirk. You've got the book smarts and I got the street smarts. Lets blow this town away and show them."

And that's what they did. Deku started practicing making machinery, designs to enhance his abilities, working out, gaining strength. Rody started doing little jobs around working for Vigilante's. Eventually the two caught the interest of a certain Vigilante. He gave them a place to stay. A neighbor hood where almost everyone was a vigilante or quirkless. Everyone knew everyone and everyone looked out for each other. 

"Yo man you gonna keep zonin out or what?" Rody asked snapping Midoriya out of his thoughts

He looked to see they were already at the 7/11. 

" Sorry just thinkin."  Mido responded earning a snicker from Rody

"When aren't you." Rody laughed giving Deku a playful punch on the shoulder. 

"Oh shut it. Lets go get some snacks." 

The two walked in, immediately greeted by the bell ringing and the cashier. She was a quirk less citizen. And ran the store almost entirely by herself. 

" Hey ya Rody and Izu!" She greeted with her usual cheery smile

" Hey! Sorry for botherin ya so late at night! Just coming for some Midnight snacks!' Rody said giving her a smile back

" You know you two could never bother me! Now go get your snacks!" She laughed the two simply smiled at her before looking through the isles

Rody went to the drinks while Izuku went straight for the snacks. The two heard as  the bell rang again, though not paying much attention to it. 

Izu continued to look through the snacks before eyeing a box of cheezits. 

However he took his eyes off the snack as he heard someone walk next to him. A tall man with shoulder length messy black hair.

"What are you doing?"

The vigilante gave him a blank stare as he grabbed the cheezits from the shelf

"Getting a Midnight snack. Duh." Izuku said. Why was this dude talking to him? Does he know him or somethin.

"Ummm. Do you mind moving over a bit?" Izuku asked the man who gave him a confused look

" You're standing infront of the gummy bears." Izu explained motioning to the bagged goods

The man said nothing as he stepped out of the way still eyeing him

Midoriya grabbed the two bags of the snack. They were Lala and Roro's favorite.

" Yo Zuku ! I got some Pepsi's and lemonade! " Rody shouted as he walked over to where his friend was.

Izuku gave him a look, silently gesturing to the man in front of them.

" Oh. Um hey dude! Do ya need something?" Rody asked the man who shook his head in response 

" No I'm just surprised to see Vigilantes Soul and Deku out in the open." The man said 

Suddenly it all clicked in their mind

'Shit' 

Rody didn't even realize the subconscious step he took in front of Deku before speaking 

"Who are you?" Rody asked 

" Eraser head."
