The Lion Life - The Mystical Tree of Life ( A KionxRani story)

Chapter 8

Shar returns to his lair after the fight with the guard and has a claw mark from kion on his chest and a cut on his face

Chumvi sees Shar's condition after the fight and laughs and asks " how was the fight ?"

Shar answers with a growl "how do you think it went?"

Chumvi says sarcastically "pretty good you look to be in tip-top shape"

Shar says" fine well you show me how to do it then"

Chumvi "sure, the thing is you have been doing it all wrong..." he says with an evil grin

At Tree of life

While kion is sleeping Rani enters the lair and tries to wake him up but fails to awake the king

She decides to push him in the lake to wake him up, unfortunately for her kion wakes up but keeps his eyes closed and hears her intentions, and lets her drag him right next to the lake 

Rani is about to push kion into the lake when he opens his eyes and spins, knocking rani into the freezing lake

"AHHH" squeals rani "ITS FREAKING FREEZING" she screams while chasing kion while he laughs and says "well I did happen to see the trick you pulled on baliyo the other day"

"That was a different case," says rani

"Either way, you are still the one who got pushed into the lake"

"Alright fine, I'll let it go, only because I had absolutely no idea you were awake and it was a good prank"

They decide to go to breakfast and meet up with the guard and night pride, who are happily chatting away

"Hey guys,"  Kion says

"hi kion" beshte says

"Why do you look like you fell into a lake," makini asks rani

" I don't want to talk about it"

Shar's lair

"So what you want to do is send an attack on one part of the tree of life, then send another attack immediately on the other side of the tree, so that they will be running around then you go to the middle of the tree and take down the queen"

"hm, that might actually work," says shar but then he says "I also have a good idea"

They both grin evilly 

Tree of Life 

kion and the lion guard are on patrol

"Guys I'm having a headache," says kion

"oh sorry to hear that maybe you should go take a rest," says beshte

"Yeah," says fuli

"are you sure you guys can manage without me?" asks kion with a little bit of doubt

"of course, we can your majesty" exclaims the fearless but overconfident honey badger

kion noticing Bunga's tone says "alright I'll go but fuli's leading," he says looking at bunga

"fine," says bunga with crossed arms

kion walks away after saying " thanks guys"

"maybe its because after breakfast rani shoved me into the lake again," kion thinks to himself"

then... someone familiar shows up
