So apparently we hit 100 read today, so I'm gonna try to make 2 chapters today.

Have fun!

Alright.

Gods know you feel terrible for doing this.

But, hey, it's for a good cause.

...You feel like you've had this internal monologue before.

Ah, we're getting off track.

You hadn't done anything for weeks, and if you hadn't been so close to Alastor you probably wouldn't have noticed all the subtle signs that he's getting nervous.

You burst through the hotel doors cheerily, and immediately spotted the reddest person in the room.

"Alastor!" You cheerily chided, bouncing toward him.

He confusedly glanced at you, still smiling, and you held your hand out. Alastor didn't like suddenly being touched, and despite your relationship you kept that rule in mind (despite your current mission, which is completely different.)

He sighed, already feeling a bit exhausted at your countless attempts, but took your hand nevertheless.

You led him to your room (get your mind out of the gutter) and plopped him down on the bed.

With a grin, you went up behind him and exclaimed:
"I'm gonna braid your hair!"

He furrowed his eyebrows slightly, smile turning into a concerned one. He knew that look, and knew he wouldn't be able to stop you. So he relented, feeling the bed dip down behind him as you sat down, quietly giggling to yourself.

He had already expected one of your... assaults to happen again soon, not knowing in what shape he was getting quite paranoid at your lack of activity yet you sit here behind him, and he's letting you do exactly what he's been so nervous about.

If you hadn't been so hyped, you would've been suspicious of how good it was going.

Your hand slowly ran through his silky, fluffy hair and you didn't fail to notice the way his shoulders lightly tensed at the feel of your hands nearing his ears. Yet you hesitated.

Why did you hesitate? Perhaps you felt that, after all this whole mission was a breach of his trust. The trust he so graciously had given you despite his distrusting personality.

Then you got your head straight. You saw that look on his face. He'd stopped you from touching his ears because he wanted you to try anything to get to them. He was simply looking for amusement, like always. Right?

You both had been having fun, you were sure of it, and truly he hadn't been that insistent about you dropping this quest.

Dejectedly dropping your hand back to his hair, you had yet to notice Alastor who was right about to stand up and change his mind look at you confused.

A weary smile made its way up on your lips, as you began braiding a small part of his hair.

Only then had you seen the mirror that had somehow been in front of you this entire time. It sat on the wall, mirroring your every action and betraying your plans to him.

Huh, I guess these invasive thoughts about being a nuisance really did save you this time.

Well, there's always tomorrow.

Well, that was sad.

Hope you guys don't mind that my writing style has changed, this story was originally made like a year ago and the first two chapters are old and I didn't feel a need to completely edit them.

The second chapter should be out swiftly!
