Chapter 12

3rd Person POV

All of them returned to Yggdmillennia castle, a lot of homunculi and even some of the mages there were a bit suspicious of having Assassin of Black back to their home after what happened a few days ago.

Gorges: "What are they doing here?!"

Ephraim: "Relax, Mr. Musik. They're under my protection and I'd like to talk to all of you regarding this and also my true mission."

Gorges: "True mission?"

Jeanne: "Ephraim? Is there something you aren't telling us?"

Ephraim: "I'll explain when everyone gathered. Now, why don't you guys take a break?"

Sieg: "Um... Sure."

Astolfo: "Oh, Master. We have to take a bath first! Come on!"

Jeanne: "Ephraim?"

Gorges: "What is his deal?"

Seeing his expression from a happy go lucky knight to a serious one. Musik and Jeanne with no other choices called in the others to the meeting room. Then Ephraim took out his phone and called in Touka or Makoto. The others went inside while Ephraim was outside, then he meets up with Touka and told him all her experience with their Grail.

After a few minutes they all arrived at the meeting room while they saw Jack the Ripper and Reika besides Ephraim.

Fiore: "Now, Ephraim care to explain as to why you brought them here?"

Ephraim: "Yes but first... Jack?"

Jack took one step and the others puts their guard up. Ephraim gave her a bit of a push and then when she was in front of Fiore she bowed down surprising the masters and servants. 

Jack the Ripper: "We're sorry... Mister told us to apologize to all of you."

Fiore: "Um..."

Caules: "Huh...?"

Gorges: "I have nothing to comment on this..."

Reika: "It's true, Jack and I are sorry but you must understand that we are in a Holy Grail War and so we did what we had to do to supply Jack with magical energy."

Astolfo: "So is that why you went around and killing mages?"

Jack the Ripper: "Yes..."

Ephraim: "Well, I know for a fact that you all wont forgive her actions but to me, Jack the Ripper here still has her uses. And putting aside my code of chivalry. I have to use her for this war and for this mission of mine."

Jeanne: "And what mission is that?"

Ephraim: "The Holy Grail... Needs to be destroyed."

All of them gasped and started arguing around the whole room. Outside the room the voices can be heard and two of the homunculi wanted to interrupt but since they're screaming out and whatnot they didn't do it.

Chiron: "May I ask why you want to destroy the Grail?"

Ephraim: "It's simple. That Grail is corrupt."

Fiore: "Corrupt?"

Ephraim: "Yes, it may or may not grant your wishes but what it will happen like what Touka told me last night -I was on the phone with her mind you- That the Grail will ooze this mud making the Servants all go insane and evil to the point that they have no control of themselves now. They will be more powerful, powerful enough to destroy each and every country in this world."

Caules: "Then what happens if a human touches that mud?"

Ephraim: "Then they will die."

Gorges: "Nonsense, what kind of proof do you have to back this up?"
