"Kenji, you want to finally get together?" She asks him. "Yes...yes! Oh my god, yes!" Kenji cheers. Janae laughs at his enthusiasm. He picks her up from the waist "You're finally my girlfriend!"
"Kenj, quiet down." She chuckles as he puts her down. "Can I kiss you?" He asks. Janae pats his shoulders "Not..just yet" she ducks in her teeth
"Ok ok, one step at a time" He takes a breath but he was still happy. "Get back to driving" She ordered him playfully
"Yes ma'am" He takes the boat off co-pilot mode before going back to driving...
"Janae, wake up, you silly goose" Sammy exclaimed. Janae's eyes looked up at the bright blue cloudy sky. They finally made it off the island. She felt a big wave of relief wash off of her body. But wait, she thought. Did her and Kenji really get together or was that just a dream?
"What's wrong with you?" Sammy asks. "How long have I been asleep?" Janae questioned. Sammy thinks long and hard "Let's see...you've been asleep a day after we left the island which was probably about 3 days ago"
3 days ago? Janae sighed, laying back down. Sammy sat next to her "What's wrong, hun?" She asks Janae. "I had a dream that...me and Kenji got together but I can't tell if it was true"
"Why don't you ask him?" Sammy tells her. "I can't go up there. I think he has some type of tension going on. It may throw our relationship off" She spoke. Sammy scoffs "Come on, it's Kenji. He looooves you"
Janae took a deep breath. Maybe Sammy was right. "Ok I'll go check on him but first, I am a bit hungry," Janae said. Sammy squealed "Just in time. Ben and Yaz cooked up something" She grabbed a hold of Janae's arm as she pulls her up the stairs
The two girls made their way to the front of the boat. The rest of the crew were laughing and enjoying each other's company. "I can't believe it. Are we really off the island or is this a dream?" Sammy spoke, quickly grabbing a plate
"If it were a dream, I'm thinking we'd have a change of clothes" Yaz sighed. Ben cackled "Ha! what do you mean? I've always wanted a signature look!" The group laughs at Ben's joke. Taking a deep breath from the laughter, Janae spots Kenji steering the boat. Sammy's words float around in Janae's head "It's Kenji"
Using all of her confidence, she gets up from her seat. What she didn't know is that Brooklyn was following her, also checking up on Kenji. Hearing her quiet footsteps, Janae turned around "Brooklyn?"
Brooklyn stumbled on her words "Oh hey Janae. I was...just going to check on Kenji too" She smiled awkwardly. Janae take a look at her face, the way she was clearly nervous and embarrassed. Maybe she took a look at her face for too long
Janae's eyes started to roll down to Brooklyn's lips but she quickly looked away. "Right uh...yeah" She responded. Both girls made their way up to the captain's pit
From there, the girls could see Kenji staring out to the horizon. "Hey captain, it's lunchtime." Brooklyn spoke
"Can't leave my post until we're docked in Costa Rica. I'm the only one of us who's ever sailed before" He responded. Brooklyn stepped up to the wheel "How hard can it be?"
Janae watched as Brooklyn tries to make Kenji loosen up. "Iceberg! Iceberg!" Brooklyn laughed. Janae chuckled at her enthusiasm. But that didn't help at all, Kenji moved back to his post "Hilarious. I'm not leaving"
"Come on, Kenji. Just cut the engine. Ten minutes won't kill you" Brooklyn begged him but he didn't budge
Janae walked over to the other side of Kenji, looking at him with sincere eyes. "Come on, Kenji. It might be our last meal together before we separate" she says
