Chapter 15: 555 words
Kazuha took a seat beside me and sat in the same position I did.
"You see that island in the distance?"
Kazuha lifted his arm up and pointed to a tiny little island in the distance.
"Yeah? What about it?"
"That, I believe Is Inazuma."
"Really!?"
"Mhm! We should arrive early in the morning tomorrow."
My face lit up with excitement and I sat up more, in attempt of a better view of the island.
"I want a better view of Inazuma"
I whined and tried to shuffle around and stand up for a closer look at the island as we approached it.
Kazuha stood up and looked at me then the sail beam then back at me. I looked out the sail beam and let out a sigh
"fine.. but just this once."
Kazuha and I jumped off the roof and walked over to the sail beam.
"So how does this work I-"
Him cutting me off, Kazuha suddenly grabbed my hand and boosted us up into the air. With his sudden actions scaring me, I gripped onto his shoulder and we landed safely on the sail beam. I felt my heart pounding in my chest, we were so high up all I could do was look at the deck. The distance from the sail beam to the floor seemed as if the drop was deathly. I had somewhat of a grip onto the wood of the sail beam as I watched our feet dangle below above everybody else. Kazuha laughed and took his bandaged hand and placed his index finger and thumb on my chin, and moved my head up, Still holding onto my hand tightly with the other.
The breeze blew strong and I felt taken away by the view from on top of the beam. I had a way better view of Inazuma and i could see farther out, The ocean seemed like it never ended, And it felt like the birds flew right by us. I stared at the breathtaking view in awe as Kazuha watched my reactions and laughed under his breath.
"You were right, It is breathtaking up here."
"Indeed"
Kazuha stared at the Ocean as the reflection of the light from the sun made the water look like the water was sparkling.
I felt so blown away I never wanted to leave. My shoulders and body started to relax and all of a sudden I wasn't afraid anymore, how could I be with such a beautiful scenery.
Time flew by like the breeze and Kazuha and I continued to talk. We tried to pass the time, as we waited for Beidou to give us something to do or for dinner.

I stacked the scattered papers neatly into one stack and put them to the side. I sighed and combed my fingers through my hair, relieved all the paperwork was done. I put the pen back in the cup with the rest and pushed my chair out. I stood up and let out a long and relaxing stretch. I rubbed my eyes and turned off the dim light as I left my office.
