Arjun Malhotra and Malika Oberoi these two are neither friends or enemies, studying law in a famous college, belonging to well to do families they got admission by scholarship…they both will always secure the first two places in college, one of the best students of their batch. And their families are good friends except Arjun and Malika
“Mom….you’re cooking so many dishes….who’s the guy mom…..is my step dad good looking”
His dad hit his head
“Son….not in this birth…and unfortunately I’m your dad”
“Yeah unfortunately…”
“yeah Arjun I gave birth to you…so unfortunate for me and I still doubt how my sperm is like this” he made a sad face
“So dramatic drama queen…and about sperm….I feel you should probably…”
His mother threw a spoon at him hitting his head
“Stop there Arjun…I’ll probably mix some pills so you should stay in washroom for whole day” she smirked
“Mom….I’m your own son”
She rolled her eyes…
“go and get ready  we are receiving Oberoi’s   for today’s dinner”
He thought for a minute and went and got dressed up within an hour Oberoi’s arrived
They settled on sofa talking random stuffs
Here she was too bored
“Beta go to Arjun’s room he’s in room you both can talk so you don’t feel bored”
She went to his room uninterested…she opened the door a bag full of dried leaves fell on her
“Ahh! Arjun stupid monkey where are you duffer”
“Look how cute you look….just like an animal let me click your picture so that I could frame that” he said to her laughing
“how dare you Arjun Malhotra…..” she shouted
“Ohh that’s known as tit for tat….just following proverbs remember you did push on the pool”
She threw the cushion on him, he dodged it
“ahh! You missed it”
“you….” He ran out of the room hurriedly, she huffed and cleaned herself and went down to see him smiling and talking to her parents
She smirked at him
“Pshh…wrong move Golu….now I’ll show you what I can do” she moved to his room and tore his report on a case..you have to submit to Manish sir tomorrow…poor you
She went and sat beside him and was eating the food accidentally his fingers brushed her bare knees made her to choke on the food
He immediately gave her water and rubbed her back a little
“Stupid…concentrate on food…eat properly”
And ate his food , she was stunned by his action even though they would fight he cared for her was the only thought on her mind
Next day,
“Mr. Malhotra could you come with Me” Manish sir called him
“Yes sir….” He slapped him
“did I told you submit the report and what the hell is on your report”
And threw the papers on his face…
“Sir it’s not mine”
“You’re arguing with me” he roared and took a step forward
But Malika came between them
“sir you have no rights to raise your hands on him…and importantly he is a topper and not even in dreams he’ll write something bad assassinating a girl’s character”
“move aside I don’t want to hurt you” he caught her arms and pulled her towards him …she released herself and threw his assignment on his face
“you should get your eyes checked and this is his assignment and the one you’re holding is 2nd year student’s” she said sternly
And pulled him with her in a empty classroom…she noticed his eyes were wet..he was humiliated in front of college unnecessarily
“Arjun why are you crying…see this is not time to cry…show him who are you..”
“he humiliated me in front of everyone…”
“So..they are no one to us and importantly you should show them who you are”
She wiped his tears and pulled him to the canteen and gave him his favorite strawberry shake
She heard whispers and murmuring around her
She stood up on her chair
“ ladies and gentlemen…listen to me very carefully…if I hear one word against him…like one word you guys will be in hospital…and I’m not joking…I hope you could understand my words” she smiled and sat beside him
While he saw her open mouthed
“woah I didn’t know you’re friendly”
“we are not friends nor enemies …if you cross my path then I’ll not spare you Arjun”
Years passed, they both were now lawyers not just but the best in their field
One day, Malika got a case, she was shocked to see a 10 year girl was raped by her own uncle and some other people and she was tortured for 3 days and now she was in hospital
Her heart bleed hearing this now cruel can humans be…she decided to take the case and immediately left to hospital
She went inside to see the innocent child sleeping her lips had a cut, arms and legs were full of marks …it was a really heart wrenching scene to witness, the little girl name was Sapna, she sat near her and saw her eyes started to flow as she saw that innocent face who never deserved to face this…after an hour she woke up she gave her toys and sweets but she was too shocked ..and lost her speaking ability. She caressed her  face and went back to her office…she bumped with Arjun on the way
“Slow down…what if you got hurt…hey did you cry” she nodded negatively and rushed back to her office
Two days later it was first hearing for that case…
She prepared herself for everything and left to the courtroom she saw Sapna’s uncle sitting with a smirk..she gritted her teeth
During the investigation, the opposite lawyer asked their parents some questions
Even though it was POSCO, her uncle was very influential person…the money flowed everywhere, he did the same he proved to the court he was not even there at the place, Sapna parents trying him to frame and get hefty amount from him
She was frustrated it was third hearing in two days, she was worried that the little girl could never get justice
She sat on the beach watching the sunset, Arjun came and sat beside her, watching the sunset
“you know what I’m really proud of you”
“I think I’ll loose…I want that child to be happy this should be a warning for everyone whoever thinks of such thing”
“Do you remember our college days…your words let me remind them for you ,never give up ..try with your 200% …show them you’re Malika Oberoi,the girl who never gives up……you’ll win and I’ll be with you no matter what” he kissed her hairs as she leaned on his shoulders…Peace was the only feeling they felt.
With lot of difficulties, her friend Myra hacked his system and that guy was stupid enough that he had a video of the girl with him…she got the video and deleted in his system , one solid proof he’ll be hanged till death
The day arrived, Sapna was taken to psychiatrist, she was doing better
“please start your side of argument Miss. Oberoi” the judge announced
“your honor, we already know that Mr. Mittal has been accused for raping his own ten year old niece….even though he made his statement that he was not present with the girl and the victim’s parents  were trying to frame him to defame him and get some hefty price….your honor…the little girl is too young for all the situations and there are evidences that he is the rapist and even there is statement of a neighbour who saw him the child that evening, for that I need your permission to call Ravi, Mr. Mittal’s  driver
He came and stood
She took deep breaths
“So Ravi do you remember, what happened that day” she asked him calmly yet sternly
“that day I dropped mittal sahab and sapna baby to the farm house at outskirts ,he told to go to some place and gave me some amount” he said in slow and sad tone
“ your honor, he provided fake proof insulting the court and next is this... The DNA report of victim and it clearly states there is a  and it is Mr. Mittal’s”
The opposition lawyer came
“Your honor…its just to divert the case, its already proven my client is innocent”
“then prove your  client’s innocence......your statement doesn’t weigh here only the evidence speak..do you have any….please take your seat” the judge ordered
“your honor, even the smartest thief will leave a evidence without their knowledge…and same happened the accused have cameras in every nook and corner of his house and it’s the CCTV footage of that day” she provided the video to him.
The judge analyzed it quickly and
“From all the arguments from both side…we can clearly come to conclusion that Mr.Rakesh Mittal is proven guilty for raping a 10 year old and I order to hang him till death” he announced. Malika cried in happiness and same goes to Arjun and thief families had a proud grin on the face…she was coming to see them
“Malika……..”
