"Where are we going Mom?"Frobo giggled as I put on a hat on him.

"We're going to the park to meet up with Marcy. I promised that I would take you outside the other day."

"Yay! I can finally see the white stuff!" He cheered, angling his arms up at me, which meant he wanted me to carry him.

When I tried to pick Frobo up, I could just lift him up a few feet. When did he get this heavy?

"Sorry bud, it looks like you're going to have to walk today."

"Okay, I don't mind!" he told, remaining in a cheerful mood.

I opened the door and we started making our way to the Central Park.

I couldn't help but chuckle as Frobo couldn't stop playing with the snow each time we took a step forward.

"Why is the white stuff so cold, Mom?" he asked while flailing his arms around to shake off the snow.

"Because it's snow Frobo, it's supposed to be cold." I gently explained.

"Ooooh! I'm glad I have someone as smart as you to tell me!" he squealed gratefully, his voice full of appreciation.

We made our way to the Central Park and we headed towards Marcy that was sitting on a nearby beach.

Her beautiful green eyes lit up as she saw us.

"Mama! I missed you!" Frobo cried out, hugging her.

"Aww, I missed you too! You've grown so much! You're almost half our size! If you keep this up, I think you might get bigger then us!" she gushed giving him an affectionate hug back.

"Gee, I don't get a hug?" I said jokingly, surprising myself as I managed to get the words out without stuttering.

Though, a hug from Marcy would be nice.

Marcy blushed and looked away from me. "If you want to..."

Marcy came over and wrapped her arms around me, embracing me. The soothing warmth made me feel like I could melt into a puddle then and there.

So warm.....So soothing..... So nice.....

Before I could stop it, a gentle rumble echoed through my throat.

Marcy separated from the hug and she stared at me, her eyes wide in surprise.

"A-Anne, d-did you just......purr?"

Not again....

"N-n-no I didn't! You're imagining things!" I denied, flustered, waving my hands in front of me.

I hate having weird dragon quirks!

Luckily for me, before she could say anything else, Frobo decided to talk.

"Hey Mama? Can I go play in the snow?" Frobo pipped up.

"Sure Frobo. Just be careful." Marcy softly warned.

Frobo nodded vigorously and happily walked off to play in a big pile of snow.

"Might as well take a little walk. Come on Anne." Marcy said, walking forward with me trotting after her shortly after.

"Okay!"

We both started walking around the park while keeping Frobo in sight.

I could help but start humming and trotting along as we walked. Being with Marcy does always put me in a good mood, but for some reason I'm feeling extra happy today.
