10 more minutes before new years.

I never really felt nor understood the joy of new years,

to me it was just,new year,old me.
I was celebrating new years with my family,
I was invited to a new years party but,
I kindly declined.

2020 December 31 — 11:59pm

I rushed outside to see the fireworks,
then I suddenly felt an arm wrapped
around my small waist,

"I want to start my 2021 with you,
I love you."

I shifted my gaze to the person,

It was Jay,

The person I was deeply inloved with.
