"Worshipping God. What did God ever do for me? He let me suffer unspeakable acts."~michi tala

The Elder Vampire stroked Fala's now paling check. "Draga mea, you were like a beautiful tea rose, that the frost kills before it can fully bloom. Another day and another time, in the past, you would have walked by my side but alas it was not to be..."

So his slender fingers, with great care, Alucard relaced the crushed velvet corset bra back up, straightened the shorts and finally pulled her college uniform skirt back down. Sir Hellsing would be more understanding if Fala was dressed as much as possible, as completely nude also made a statement in the wrong way.

Too many questions... Too many loose ends to wrap up..

He ran his fingers through her once shiny raven black hair It gave Alucard his last intimate feel of her cooling body, in contrast to the crimson velvet bra. The Vampire King placed some of her onyx hair behind her ears. His final act of making Fala respectable, was to shadow form his red duster and place the dead woman's body in it.

As if she was light as a raven's feather, he scooped up her body and carried Fala in the bridal carry.   How many times had the Vampire King been in this position, of carrying a dead woman, in his arms?

A man for that matter too?

Many, many times before but he couldn't remember most of his victims. He didn't see why and arrogantly chose to forget the little humans each time. Yet Alucard knew Fala wouldn't fade, from his memory for the second time.

The Editich Abomination walked silently up to his Master, Sir Integra Fairbrook Windgates Hellsing. Integra was the last of the line for the Hellsings.

His Master would go someday and he was unsure of his future but it was not worth losing sleep over. He also didn't fully know if he could 'hide' all the memories in his head. Interga's grandfather had made a binding to the sigils on his hands. She could enter his mind and detect if he was lying.

Alucard! Where the fuck have you been?" Sir Integra yelled.

She stood with her arms crossed and her right hand fingers tapping her upper arm. Integra had just lit her cigar, so she blew out a thick breath of smoke. The young woman in charge of Hellsing knew there had to be some kind of story but it depended on Alucard coming forth with information.

"Comforting the dying..." he said, carrying Fala's body, still wrapped in his coat. "Would you see that she and the rest of her family are buried properly. After all, Fala here is a Morris. The husband and children are Harkers, along with Fala's mother, Mrs. Morris from Texas."

"Fuck! Is that perhaps what the attack was about?" Sir Hellsing asked.

Integra couldn't help but see a dark image of Fala being in the role of Snow White and in the arms of a handsome prince. This Prince was dark and only brought the kiss of death. This Snow White would never wake up again. It was a sad image even to the battle hardened Sir Hellsing.

After the family reunion she had been invited to, Fala might have become a friend.

"I Won't know for sure until I find who was in charge. I know of at least two newly created young vampires who were involved,as Fala killed him," Alucard reported.

"Huh...a true Morris to the end," Sir Hellsing stated, with great respect in her voice.

Alucard said nothing but his fangs extended though he didn't reveal them, as he was greatly annoyed by Sir Integra's comment. No Life King felt he was still well above the Harkers and Morrises. They were not like Integra's family as a Hellsing family member. Although the Vampire had to admit mentally, that Fala was an incredible woman, that stood apart and had made both families look good. He couldn't understand the draw to Gerald Harker though.
