i may not have seen you coming
you threw me off a bridge
and took my place next to him
but while i climbed my way back up
i dreaded the day you reshattered him
the day you ripped the stitches
he'd sewn in himself
i dreaded the tears
you would bring
i saw that part coming
and couldn't do a thing to stop it
his heart will forgive every time
but his best friend has other plans in mind
she grew up on miranda
brothers taught her keep her head up
father gifted crazy to her
and she's never been a big forgiver
