For clarity, these are songs I FOUND in 2021, not ones RELEASED this year.
Furthermore, I will put a version of a song that I like the best, so I won't always put the original singer's version.

10. Happier- Olivia Rodrigo
I was genuinely surprised when I found out Olivia was 17 when she made this song. The lyrics are so well written, the music complements the story, and her voice is stunning.

Touch You has such great music. I love the guitar. The range of voices was also great, my favorites were the voices at 0:46 and 1:39.

8. This was predictable but...
I know you already guessed it by now or were expecting when the Aruvn covers were coming...
Blood Sweat and Tears was the song that got me into BTS. I didn't like BTS before this year at all, in fact. So shoutout to @jungkooksmellypoop for introducing me to this song. Fell in love with it.
I know BTS has a very intense fandom which does pretty questionable stuff sometimes, but it shouldn't have been a reason for me to not enjoy BTS's music! So thank you Jungkooksmellypoop for such a great introduction to BTS.
7. Awake
Ah, UnravelAsha guessed a BUNCH of my favorites correctly lafjsslfjslfj I'm too predictable.
After falling in love with Blood Sweat and Tears, I checked SO many more songs by BTS. They're my favorite Kpop group and favorite band right now. Although I liked many more songs by them, this song introduced me to JIN- aka World Wide Handsome- now my favorite member (although I love all members).
His voice is incredible. He doesn't get a lot of lines in many of their more popular songs (like Blood Sweat and Tears) but this song was such a good display of his vocals.
I heard many other covers by many talented people, but I felt like Jin's voice is the only voice in the world that can capture the full essence of this song. The english words' pronunciations maybe a little askew, but it didn't disturb the song one bit (also Jin is non-native, so quite understandable).
