*4 years into the future from prologue*
《Y/n pov》
"Sir"
"How many times do I need to tell you fury is fine, I've known you since you were 15 your going on 19 this year"
Nick really was so nice he was like the dad I never knew but always needed. He taught me everything I know and has really taken me under his wing over the years.
"Y/n I'm going to partner you with Jess, Jess is a highly trained agent and was originally partnered with Romanoff who has now gone off to join the Avengers. I expect you to fill her shoes, they are bug shoes to fit can you do it agent l/n?"
"Of course Nick I'm sure I'll be able to"
"Good go bond and get to know her then"
Nick replied

*Jess' pov*
So I'm told that I have a new partner... I don't need a partner. I'm perfectly capable of working alone I get the job done so much faster. No opinions being thrown, no distractions and no conflicts of interest!

Just then a girl walks in no older than 20, she had dark brown hair about 170cm (a/n that's 5 feet 7 inches for those who use feet , correct me if I'm wrong that's what google says) she looks soft too soft for this buisness she's a liability, she'll do the nice thing not whatever it takes to save the world.

I went up to her and introduced myself
"I'm Jess, 25 years old level 7 agent do not get in my way and I won't get in yours"
She introduces herself and told me her name is y/n she's 19, so I was right younger than 20, she seems sweet and a bit clueless so I gave her a tip
"Rookie listen when it comes to doing what's correct morally or what's going to benefit everyone and save people you gotta pick the choice that's right"
She just gave me a small smile and walked off back to her room presumably.

A/n I know this is a bit of a slow start and short chapter but the drama will start happening as the story builds
