Chapter 3

KATSUMI'S POV

It had been a week since I last saw Muzan as he hadn't been at work.

My boss said he quit which I found strange.

I had a feeling Muzan was up to something.

I don't know what though.

I sighed as I walked out of my house for some food.

This time I'm not helping any lost kids, it didn't go so well last time.

I found a nice Udon stand and bought my food, I sat on a bench nearby and started to eat it.

I felt someone sit next to me.

I looked to see Muzan.

"Oh looks like you haven't given up yet"
I stated.

I glared as Muzan knocked my Udon out of my hand.

"What the fuck?"
I growled.

"It's time you become a Demon"
Muzan replied.

"No"
I deadpanned.

I dodged as Muzan attempted to scratch me.

"Leave me out of this"
I hissed.

I felt Muzan grab my face.

"If you want no part in it then why do you still carry you're sword"
Muzan stated.

"Blame people like you who swarm around me and don't let me forget, how can I not carry my sword when someone like you is always following me and watching me like some kind of stalker"
I glared.

I felt like he was about to dig his nails into my chin and turn me.

I drew my sword and did my first breathing technique.

I didn't want to kill Muzan, I just wanted to get away and not be turned.

Luckily the first breathing technique allows me to stop time for others meaning Muzan will be stuck in the moment whilst I get away, which is exactly what happened.

I was now frustrated that he attacked me.

Part of me wanted to re join the Hashira just to piss him off.

Yup let's do it.

I did exactly that, I re joined the Hashira.

"I don't get it, it's so random but I'm glad to have you back"
Mitsuri stated.

Mitsuri Kanroji was the only overly nice person I tolerate, why? I had grown to figure out that she is genuinely nice and that's that.

"I'm going to be honest with you, I re joined because I'm pissed off"
I replied.

"With who?"
Mitsuri asked.

"Muzan Kibutsuji"
I deadpanned.

"You've seen him? You're the only Hashira to have ever seen him"
Mitsuri questioned.

"Oh yeah I've seen him, he follows me around"
I huffed.

"He wants me to be on his side"
I continued.
