This is the second part
Jinx x motherly readerOutside POV
You wake up before Silco and you listen carefully to see if Powder is awake yet and for what you can tell she is still asleep. You look over at Silco and just admire his sharp features. He looks so calm and the only time that you have seen him this at peace was last night. You were looking at him for about a minute maybe minute and a half and you knew that he woke up. You could tell because his eyelids flickered just slightly. "I know your awake love." "Staring is rude darling." You chuckle at this slightly. "I was merely observing lovey." You both chuckle and hear little pitter patters of feet on the floor. You heard the door open and then close again as Powder struggles to get up on your bed. It was much taller than hers and she couldn't quite get up their by herself. You rolled over and pulled her up on to the bed with you two. She snuggles in between you and Silco. You ask her if she is ready for some breakfast to which she eagerly nods in response. You told her to go get dressed and meet her in the kitchen. She nodded and rushed to get and get dressed. You and Silco got up and dressed and headed to the kitchen and you see Powder sitting at the table. She had set the table up and everything. You and Silco exchanged an inquisitive glance and smirked. "Honey do you want to help us make the pancakes?" You asked her and her eyes lit up. "Really?! You mean it?" "Of course we mean it dear." Silco finished. Powder toddled over silly like and stood between us waiting for instructions.
Yn's POV
I smile and walk over to the table and grab a chair so that Powder and reach everything. 'Alright honey' I hand her a measuring cup and a bag of flour. 'We are going to measure 2 cups of flour. That is 2 of these cups.' We scooped the flour into the cup but it was not an even cup. 'Now we take the handle of the spoon and even if the top.' I showed her what I had meant and I heard her mouth 'ohhh' I softly giggled at her. I told her that it was her turn to try it so I watched her carefully scoop the flour into the cup. I told her that she was doing a good job and that now she had to even it out. So she grabbed the spoon and go to even it out. When she did she got almost all of what she scooped back into the bag but just a little bit of it fell onto the counter. She looked at us with wide eyes. "I'm sorry." The poor thing looked like she was about to cry. I quickly went over to her and wrapped my arms around her and quickly told her that it was ok and it was just a little bit of flour. "Here honey look it's just a little bit of flour." I took a rag out of the cabinet put a little water on it and wiped up the little bit of flour off the counter. "See it's alright. No harm no foul. Sometime accidents happen, but it's ok. We can learn from them." She had set the cup that she was holding in her hand down in the bowl and fully wrapped her arms around me and broke down. "That's not what Vi said. She just left me." "I'm not Vi, I will never leave you. And she was the one who is wrong. Ok. Look at me please. I will never leave you. Silco will never leave you. We are going to be here for you as long as you need us to be. Alright honey." She nodded and was starting to calm down. I picked her up and carried her to the bathroom where we cleaned up a little and washed our hands. "How about we go and finish these pancakes Hmm?" She smiles and nods. I put her on my back and take her back to the counter. Silco is standing there in amazement at how I handled that situation. I winked at him. She jumped off and landed on the chair. We got the rest of the ingredients put together and all mixed up.
I told her to go and make everything perfect for her and Silco. I told them I would finish them since I didn't want Powder to accidentally burn herself on the hot surface. I heard the soft rustling of plates and silverware. So I glance up and I see her moving all of the plates closer. I chuckle and finish up all of the pancakes and but them on a bigger plate so I could move them over to the table. When I set the plate down her eyes went wide and she giggled. "How many do you want my dear?" Silco asked her. She said three and thought that was it. I crept over to the cabinet and pulled out the syrup and set it on the table. I didnt think that her eyes could get any bigger but when she saw the syrup I thought she was going to die. She softly asked 'please' so I poured some on to hers and then she dug right on in. She hummed in pure bliss. We both giggled as we ate our pancakes. "I love these mom they are so good." I froze instantly. I could see that she froze too. She was about to say sorry but I put my arms around her and said everything tastes better when you make it with love. She smiles and says that she loves dad too. Silco smiles and wraps his arms around all of us. It was the perfect way to start the best part of our lives together. And now this old house finally feels like home.
