REWRITTEN! Day 1 - The Beginning

"It has begun, our main character is living with divorced parents, she had attended her grandpa's funeral with her best friend. Then she just found out that her mother has dementia, not remembering who her own daughter is. Her father insists on letting her to stay in his house, but knows that they'll get abused and nobody will come to help her. But days later, a package was delivered to her mother's house, she found out that she had been invited to a school, will she accept it?"

December 20, 2032.

Monday.

The stars are shining bright today, I wonder if this day will be any better.

Our main character is Player, choices will reflect her personality on the story.

It was a cold night, at Player's house.

She's been living with divorced parents for over 6 years now.

Her mother had been diagnosed with dementia years ago, her father insisted on staying to his house.

Today, a package was sent to her mother's house.

8:00 AM

(Huh.. What could that be during this time of day?)

Player went to check outside the door, and saw it was for her.

She checked to see what was inside, only to see a letter and some pair of jackets.

She started to read the letter;

"Dear Player.

We've seen your struggle keeping up on life, but we can fix that. You have been assigned to study in an institution located in Lake Tahoe, California. Known as the Comedy School.

Graduate, and we will give you your happy ending. Do not embarrass us. We'll be seeing you in [REDACTED], [REDACTED], 2032 during 6:00 AM, sharp.

-Signed with love, The RSoC Team."

Player didn't believe the letter, but when she looked back, she then thought about it again.

(Maybe I should find out either way..)

She knocks on her aunts house.

Cecilia "ALRIGHT YOU BITCHES. I'VE HAD ENO-"

"O-Oh, it's you.."

"Come in Player!"

Player willingly enters her house, and sits down on a chair.

Cecilia "So, what brings you here today?"

(Aunt Cece, I was wondering if... You could help me head to Lake Tah-)

Cecilia shatters her glass.

Cecilia "Player?! W-Why do you want me to bring you on such a random place?!"

Player "There's.. something I'd like to talk to you about."

She negotiates to her aunt about the letter.

Cecilia "I see. And, this so called "happy ending" is what you desire so much?"

Player nodded, and Cecilia proceeded to place her hand to one of Player's shoulder.
