Riley pov

I got out of the car, my black purse hanging from my shoulder and stopping just above my waist

I shut the door behind me when I got out, Faith and Erin was going to get out on the left side and Carly drove us to the bowling alley while Jenny sat in the passenger seat.

I admit, it was nice riding here.

Everybody was getting along, having nice conversations while music was playing in the background and if it got to quiet when we had nothing else to talk about we sang along to the song loudly.

It was nice.

I thought that coming over to this sleepover would be a terrible idea because these girls were popular cheerleaders and to say the least, popular highschool cheerleaders had a bad reputation.

Especially blondes.

I never talked to them in school so I didn't exactly know if they were nice or not but they are.

It was kind of chilly outside seeing at it was 9pm.

My hair was up in a ponytail but it would brush against my face and a piece would stick to my glossed lips every second.

My fingers lightly fiddled with my slightly baggy blue jeans to keep myself from being bored. I decided to keep on my brown crop top and just threw a white jacket on that I had zipped up half away to where it covered my chest but not my collarbones

[Don't feel like searching for pictures or trying to explain the other girls outfits but I will like mention their clothes :)]

When they were all out of the car we started walking down the parking lot, my air force 1s hitting the pavement with light but quick steps.

It was cold outside and I was ready to get into the building that I for sure knew was warm and buzzing with people.

And I was right as we stepped  into the building.

It was buzzing with life; people running around with their loved one and friends, laughing and enjoying a good time as they played arcade games together, and some bowling while others at the food court.

It wasn't as warm as I thought it would be but it was enough to make my cold body shiver with the warmness in the air

"I want to play arcade games" Jenny said and started walking forward

"I'm hungry" Erin shrugged.

We all looked at her for a second because we just had taco bel before we came here and she was hungry?

I chuckled a bit and went up to the entrance counter as it was our turn in line

The young boy standing behind the counter flashed us a polite smile

"How many people are there?" He asked sweetly and glanced at me as if he was personally asking me.

My stomach started to turn and my hands got sweaty. I was never good with public talking. Even when it came to food, I got my dad to order it for me

I stood there for 10 or more seconds quietly as I stared at the boy and he stared back at me before Jenny saved the day and stepped up

"Just 5 people"

"Are you playing games or bowling tonight?" He looked down at the little computer thingy and typed something before looking back up

"We'd like to do both"

I glanced back at the girls and Carly sent me a smile and I sent a small smile back

My phone dinged in my pocket and I took it out while Jenny continued to answer the young Mexican boy questions

-Ms. Kessler
How's it going?

I bit my lip as I thought of a quick reply then typed it up

-Me
It's going fine. Just got here.
Didnt u give me ur number incase Jenny phone is dead?
I'm sure it isn't.

-Ms. Kessler
🤨
You can't be still mad from earlier darlin'

-Me
I can and I will be.
What are u going to do about? Stop me again?

-Ms. Kessler
It wouldn't be hurting me 🤷

I scoffed out loud and pressed down on her message till the small circle buttons popped up on the side then started clicking mine and hers before deleting it.

I dont want Jenny getting suspicious if she was ever on my phone.

"Who is that?" I heard Faith from behind me and jumped a little

"Just Jenny mom asking if we were here safely" I said and pocketed my phone

She hummed. "Well the guy said we have to go over there so we can get our arcade cards"

I nodded and followed as we walked over.
