soojin sat comfortably on the bus, hands bundled up in the loose fabric of the jacket hanging around her waist. she hardly went out anymore, especially with anyone who wasn't sakura, so she couldn't lie and say she wasn't a bit nervous.

the girl looked around at the people seated with her. there weren't many since it was so late, and the people who were present were either drunk or sucking the face of the person beside them. the faint smell of stale booze irritated her nose, but soojin couldn't complain.

she caught herself staring off into space after the vehicle pulled to a rather harsh stop, gently shifting her to the left of her seat and snapping her back to reality. it took her a few seconds to process that she was in itaewon, but the girl's feet carried her towards the exit without much thought.

"see you, larry. have a nice night," she bid the driver a farewell after reading his nametag and hopped off the steps. it didn't smell much better than the bus, but soojin simply followed the directions on her phone as it led her towards the bar hiding the others.

the sky was pitch black, but the abundance of neon street signs and yellow lamps brought the place to life.

unable to spot the bar, her finger hovered over yuta's contact right as her phone began to ring. hurriedly pressing the answer button, soojin held the device to her ear and sucked in a breath. "dude, i'm so lost. do you see me?"

jaehyun's clearly slurred giggle came from the other line, and the ravenette was forced to pull the phone away when he suddenly shouted her hotline username. however, her brows furrowed when she heard him twice.

whipping her head in all directions, soojin's gaze finally stilled when she spotted a pair of jumping, limb-flailing boys on the other side of the road, both yelling "baesoo!"

a short, surprised scoff slipped past her lips as soojin waved back at the boys to signal that she saw them. looking around her to stay clear of vehicles and other pedestrians, the girl made her way towards the others with a large grin.

"soojin! fuck, you're hot," taeyong slurred, his body falling towards the new girl, earning a sudden gasp in response as she quickly wrapped her arms around him so he wouldn't fall. "uh, nice to meet you?"

she couldn't help but blush when he nuzzled his face into her neck, his fluttery purple hair tickling her chin. "you even smell good."

the boy was pulled off a second after drunkenly spilling his comment, quickly clinging to jaehyun and smelling him next. the younger of the two rolled his eyes and glanced at the girl beside him in a way that reminded her of jim from the office.

stifling a laugh, soojin instead smiled. "so, this isn't too quick, right? i don't feel awkward yet."

"yet~" taeyong sang as he slipped around in jaehyun's loose grip.

"come on in," the latter offered his hand towards soojin, who stared at it for a few moments before raising a brow and grabbing the older boy instead, for he was about to fall on the cement.

taking a couple of seconds to stabilize taeyong between them, who was making kissing sounds with an almost childish grin, the two younger's entered the bar.

"don't worry," jaehyun started after catching the nervous glint in the girl's eyes, "they're gonna like you."
