"Ah yes. Me. My boyfriend. And his annoying metal pigeon" Bucky mumbled. "I don't remember Redwing asking for cuddles, I on the other hand, did."
Sam turned over, narrowed his eyes and slowly moved to cover the head of the robot. "He is not a pigeon and has feelings you know" Sam pouted and placed a kiss on Redwing. "Don't listen to him, Bucky is just a cranky old man"
Bucky rolled his eyes and sighed. "Still a metal pigeon" he said in a sing-songy voice and stretched his arms above his head.
Sam pouted and rolled back over to the side, facing away from Bucky and continued cuddling Redwing.
What Sam didn't see after he rolled over was Bucky smiling fondly at him.
Bucky then scooched closer to Sam, put one hand on his waist and rubbed gentle circles there with his thumb.
Sam being Sam, couldn't help but break into a smile too.
