[SANTINO'S POV]
"Kenzo hyung?"
I was in the middle of driving when Kenzo called me. He was sitting beside me because I fetched him earlier and i have decided to bring him to the han river to unwind. I can still sense that he is still bothered about something.
I can sense that he just lied about the reason why he is bothered. He told me that he was just sad for Sun. I dont buy it.
"yes, kenzo?" i said but my focus is still on the road.
"we just passed the street going to my house. are we going somewhere?"
i nodded as an answer. "it's a surprise." i said. i can see in my pheripheral view that kenzo just pout. god that cute pout. "dont pout."
"i'm not." kenzo turned to the window panes.
"okay okay." i chuckled as i park the car. i know kenzo loves han river and we used to hang around in here back when we were in junior school. we also used to have a picnic in here.
"ahh, santi hyung! you really know where to bring me." i can hear kenzo saying it in a soft tone. i stared at him and gave him a smile.
"i know you'll be able to unwind in here." i said as i turned off the engine then unbuckles my seatbelt. "lets go?"
kenzo just nods and we went out of the car. i stretched a bit and looks at kenzo who's did the same.
"santi hyuung~~" he called and i stare at him. "hyung let's go to our usual spot." he said before he starts running to where our usual spot.
I just followed him as i tuck my hands inside my pocket. it just felt so good having kenzo with me and having a quality time together. i dont know the exact reason why kenzo is bothered but i hope it's nothing serious.
"santi hyung, lets go. hurry up!" i said as i saw kenzo lying down the soft grass, looking at the clouds.
i sat down beside him and kenzo immediately scoots closer to me, he made my leg as his pillow.
"lend me my pillow." kenzo mumbled.
i caressed his hair while i stare at the cloud as well.
"hyung." kenzo called.
i looked at him. "eo?" i answered.
"do you like someone?"
idk of all questions kenzo has to ask, he chose to asked this. i have a million thoughts about it and the only answer my heart could give is kenzo.
"why ask?" i answered him then pinched the tip of his nose.
"aww!" he pushed my hand away. "hyung, i'm serious."
"why are you suddenly interested in my dating life?" i asked.
"nothing." he said with a pout. "am i not allowed to ask those questions, hyung?"
[KENZO'S POV]
"am i not allowed to ask those questions, hyung?" I asked Santi hyung. I'm eager to know who he really likes.
Idk why.
I just want to know who.
Idk why it doesnt feel right. If Santi hyung doesnt have anyone in mind, he would have answered my question right away but he asked too many questions.
grr.
"nah, there's someone i like but i'm kinda confused about it."
ahh.. so he really does have someone in mind.
"ohh, that's good hyung." i said but idk why there's a part of me which is hurting.
after that i just closed my eyes.. hoping the pain in my chest would be gone.
"Kenzo?"
a familiar voice called me and i immediately opened my eyes and got shocked to see Sun, coming our way.
what is sun doing in here.
"sun?" i sat up in an indian position and looked at santi hyung who's avoiding his gaze.
"i bought something and decided to relax here in han river. good thing you and sanyi hyung are here." he said as he sat down beside me. "can i?"
my heart wants to say no but i just nodded as answer.
"santi hyung~" sun called and i looked at santi hyung when he looked at sun with a blank expression. "do you wanna watch movie with me?"
i can sense uneasiness to santi hyung but i was shocked when santi hyung nodded. like what??
"perfect!!" sun exclaimed and he looks at me then whispered. "youve been a good friend for helping me with santi hyung." he giggled.
i havent done anything but i guess santi hyung's mind changed? i thought he wasnt up for dating but why?
"there's this movie i wanna watch but kenzo doesnt like these kinds of movie so might as well watch it with you." that's what santi hyung said. so if it's the genre that i dont like watching, it must be that horror movie he insisted a week ago.
"yah, ive told you i wanted to watch that movie." i said, pouting.
"dont worry kenzo, i'll watch it with santi hyung. i know you dont like horror stuffs." sun said with a big smile on his lips. i bet he is very happy with this...
but im not..
santi hyung looked at me with a tiny smile on his lips. i wish santi hyung declined sun's offer.
it hurts me.
idk why im hurting over a horror movie.
"i'll just pick you up tomorrow after class, if its okay with you sun?" santi hyung said.
can i disappear now? im like a thirdwheel.
i can feel my phone vibrating so there must be a text, i grabbed my phone and read the text message and saw it was from Sun.
he's just sitting beside us but why text me?

what to do? what reason should i say?
"uh.. hyung? i think i need to go." i said as i stood up and grabbed my back pack. "mom texted me to run some errands. i didnt wait for hyung's answer and i decided to run away from them.
i dont want to do this but i will do this for my bestfriend's happiness... even if my heart is aching right now.
i stopped at a nearby bus stop and sat down on the bench. i stared at the bus passing by as i wondered about what i just did.
this is what i really planned right? to set sun and santi hyung on a date but i didnt planned to do it right away. i'm happy- yes, im happy for sun hyung but why is my heart aching so much.
why is my heart aching!!
im supposed to be genuinely happy for them but why do i want santi hyung for myself. :/
this is driving me crazy.
