Chapter 44: INFORMING THE TEAM

Third person POV:
It's been 3 days since Virat and Anushka have told their families and things have been fabulous since then other than a whole lot of teasings from Arnav, Kiara, Chetna and Vikas. The most happening thing that happened in last 3 days was when Kiara decided to meet Virat.

Flashback:
Kiara was very adamant to meet Virat so Anushka gave up and arranged a lunch for Kiara, Virat and herself. They were going to Kiara's favourite restaurant. Virat was the first one to reach there and as soon as Kiara saw him she ran towards and he engulfed her in a hug. All three of them had a crazy time over lunch, Virat and KIA making fun of Anushka time to time, Kiara telling Anushka's weird habits to Virat, Anushka scolding both of them for laughing so loud and all of that. All three of them loved every minute they spent there and all of them headed back to their places.

*Flashback ends*

Today Anushka and Virat was to join the team for ODI worldcup. The team will practice for 2 days in Mumbai and then fly to Dubai for the tournament. They both decided to tell the team today itself. Anushka was the first one to reach Wankhede and the team joined later on. Everyone greeted each other and were now having very normal conversations, Hardik telling Rahul how many girls he met in the last 2 months, Jaddu telling Shardul his new Jamnagar stories, Virat scolding Rohit for gaining 200 gm extra weight, Jassi and Bhuvi discussing the minor mistakes they made in IPL, Ash and Mahi bhai discussing about the coming tournament, Shreyas showing his newly learnt magic tricks to Shikar and Kuldeep, and Yuzi shooting all this in his camera for his Chahal TV episode.
"Guys, Can we please discuss the schedule?" Anushka asked for the hundredth time and all of them as usual ignored her and this was enough for Anushka. She brought a speaker, connected her phone and played a very loud and disturbing sound and that's when they all shifted her focus to her.
"Anushkaaaaa, Stop this... Do you want all of us to go deaf?" Rohit screamed.
"Oh, so you can finally see that I'm here." She said and finally turned off the sound.
"Now, Can you all listen to me?" She asked and they all agreed. They discussed their coming week schedule, personal shoot commitments and team shoots and headshot timings also. This all went for 2 hours and then all the players went for practice. Virat's net session ended the first so he made his way to dressing room and sat beside Anushka.
"What happened my girl? You seem to be so upset." He said and Anushka frowned.
"Vee, We still haven't decided how will we break the news. I'm stressed"
"Why are you getting stressed? Let them end the practice session and I'll tell them. What's there to even think?" he said casually.
"Not like this Virat. And we'll tell them together, Okay?" Anushka said.
"Yeah, Fine but the idea will be mine"
"Why will be the idea yours and not mine? We'll both tell our ideas and then decide." Anushka argued and they both were standing opposite to each other by now.
"My plan is that we'll tell them through a video. We'll make a video of our photos and videos together and will show it to them" Virat said.
"Ew!! How boring... Can't you think of a better idea?"
"Oh really, then tell me your idea and I'll see how genius you're" Virat said.
"Genius to m hu. My idea is we will make them play treasure hunt and the last chit will have the revelation" Anushka suggested and Virat started laughing nonstop. They both didn't realise but the team was back from the practice session and they were standing outside the dressing room watching Virat laugh and they couldn't understand what was happening. Mahi bhai was about to step in but Hardik being the fun lover requested him to not go inside and let them listen to their fun conversations. Ash protested that it's wrong to listen to their talks without them knowing but the team shut him up. Now, all of them were keenly listening to Virat-Anushka's conversation standing at the door of dressing room.
"What are you finding so funny in this , Mr Virat?" Anushka asked crossing her arms.
"This whole idea is funny. Treasure hunt?? Really? Couldn't you think of a better game" Virat asked still laughing and Anushka was getting very annoyed.
"Oh, As if you had some brilliant idea. Treasure hunt is a far better idea than Video. So, don't you dare make fun of me."
"I can't help, your idea is no less than a joke so I can't control laughing"
"Vee, If you don't stop right now, I'm gonna hit you really hard" Anushka said annoyed and the team was loving their fight.
"Ohh angry woman, Calm down but you have to admit that my idea was far better than yours"
"No way. We'll go with my idea" Anushka said.
"In your dreams, we'll go with my plan" Virat argued and team didn't even had a clue what were they both planning for.
"No, with mine" Anushka Said
"With mine" Virat said.
"Mera idea"
"Nhi, mera idea"

They both were fighting like kids and were totally immersed in thier fight. Mahi bhai not being able to handle their stupid argument more decided to interrupt.
"Kis cheez ke ideas hai ye?" He asked and Virat Anushka instantly replied without thinking who they're answering to as they were totally into their fight.
"About telling the team that we're dating" Thay said still looking at each other and finally realised what just happened. They looked at whom they answered and saw the whole team standing with their mouths wide open with shock. They both looked at each other and knew that none of their plans could be brought to action as the cat is out of the bag.
"Whattt?" Mahi bhai was the first to recover from the shock and asked.
"Vo bhai- actually- vo- hum- actually" Virat stammered.
"You both are in a relationship?" Mahi bhai asked getting inside the room. They both stood like some kids who were about to get punished and nodded.
"Really? You both are together? Oh my god, are you serious?" Rahul asked exaggerating.
"Or hme pata b nhi chlne diya IPL ke tym" Yuzi continued.
In the whole scenario Rohit was having the most fun, he was sitting quietly on the bench in dressing room with popcorns in hand and enjoying the whole show.
"Tum dono date krre ho or mujhe bataya b nhi?" Mahi bhai asked.
"Sorry bhai" They both said together.
"Bhai, dekhlo iss Cheeku ko, mene to jis din Ritika ne haa bola tha usi din bata diya tha.." Rohit said taking advantage of the situation while Virat just mouthed a Hindi gaali to him.
"To bhaiya, isliye Anushka didi IPL ke liye aayi thi" Yuzi said and the whole team looked at Anushka and she nodded.
"Virat- Anushka, tum dono to chupe rustom nikle" Jaddu said and they both were still silent.
"So, that means the media is also right sometimes?" Jassi asked.
"To ab Virat mera jiju bnega ya Anushka meri Bhabhi?" Hardik asked very seriously and the team just glared at him.
"When did it all start? And why didn't you tell us guys?" Ash asked.
"Cheeku..... Anushka...... Tum m se koi bolega?" Mahi bhai said to both of his kiddos who were behaving dumb all of a sudden.
"Bhai, it's true that we are together. Hm dono batane hi wale the but..." Anushka said and Jaddu instantly replied
"Dost dost na raha, Behen behen na rahi"
"Ab Virat bhaiya ki fangirls vo gaana gayengi... Ye dil kyu toda, kyu toda" This was Rishab enjoying at Virat's cost.
"Or jinki crush Anushka hai vo ye gaana gayenge.... Mai phir b tumko chahunga, Iss chahat m mar jaunga" Hardik joined in the leg pulling session.
"Okay now enough of this teasing and all. We can continue this later but firstly, I'm very very happy for you two... Just stay with each other and take it to forever." Mahi bahi said and hugged both of them.
"Yarr Mahi bhai, we could've more fun." Rohit said.
"Saale, tujhe bhot maje aa rhe the. Bataunga tujhe m" Virat said.
"I so wanted from the very first day that Virat and you get to know each other because deep down i always felt that you both can heal each other. Anushka, my kid.. he is a gone case, we all know that... He lands in my room at 3 am and cries for no reason, He fights with Rohit over weird things, He calls Jaddu at night hours just to tell him that the story he told him three months ago was not convincing, He fights with Sakshi over texts about whom I love more, He sneaks into Jassi's room and steals his jackets and stuffs, He takes the whole biodata of the girl before allowing Rahul to date to make sure he is with the right person, He keeps a check on Hardik time to time to make sure he doesn't land in any mess, He fights with Shreyas over the fact that who is the better dancer while he himself knows that he is not, He goes into Ash's room whenever he needs any information about cricket rather than googling... He is that crazy and that's what makes him who he is. Behind the very successful and talented cricketer lies this crazy boy who crave love and care and who loves everyone around him with all he has. I know that you have found that crazy soul of this famous cricketer and I am sure you are the best for him. I don't say this on his face many times but he is precious. You've got a good partner, i can assure you, princess" Mahi bhai said to Anushka and she knew that Virat is the heartbeat of this team, he is someone who lives for the team and the team lives for him too.
"I'm definitely lucky to have him bhai and I know he is a gone case but I'll manage" Anushka replied.
"Mahi bhai, i can agree with everything but it's not me who fights with Rohit, he fights with me." Virat said and all of them laughed.
"And listen Virat, Anushka is best for you, i know that but you also have to be the best for her. She has made us her family in such short span, that says a lot about her beautiful nature. She loves everyone with all her heart. She can even calm a storm with her maturity and she can even drive a sane person crazy with her madness. She can be the kid who complaint about her friends to me and she can also be the mentor to guide all of us in our tough times. She can pick a person's shattered pieces and glue them as if they were never broken. She knows her priorities well and have the quality to live her life to the fullest. She has the quality to put up that beautiful smile and laugh when she has deep wounds on her heart, selfless, determined, independent, opinionated, loving, caring and that's what make her the beautiful soul she is. I want you to be with her as much as she has been with you. The best relationship is when both are equals and I hope you'll cherish this gem you've got" Mahi bhai said to Virat and Anushka had tear in her eyes. Mahi took her in a hug.
"Bhai, I'll try my best to be with her whenever she needs and I'll not let her down. I assure you" He said and Mahi took him in a hug also.
"Now stop being senti guys. I need to know the details. I can't wait more" Hardik said jumping in the situation.
"Yeah, We all want to know when happened, what happened, since when is this going on and everything" Jaddu joined Harry.
"Come guys, I'll tell you" Rohit said putting all his left popcorns in his mouth.
"Why'll you tell them, it's about me.. I'll tell them" Virat argued and the team slapped their heads with their hands because they knew that another stupid Rohirat fight is on the way.
"I am not talking about your relationship. I'll tell them about my sister and his boyfriend which unfortunately happens to be you" Rohit said making fun of Virat.
"I am badly waiting for the day when I'll meet Ritika. I want to know how can she agree to date this ridiculous thing" Virat replied and now the team was seated with their popcorns enjoying the show.
"Shut up.. and Anushka, I wonder what tragedy occured that you had to say yes to him? He is an absolute piece of shit" Rohit added.
"Oh, look who's talking who sleeps for 20 hours a day and eats the left 4 hours. Bloody Idiot" The team was laughing their heart out.
"Don't you think you exaggerated a bit too much? Like who tf sleeps for 20 hours. That's why I say that you are senseless" Rohit replied.
"Shut up, If you're given the choice you'll sleep all 24 hours of the day so you dare not argue on that"
"And if you're given the choice, you'll trouble me all 24 hours a day. Bloody obsessed" This was Rohit's comeback and the team was now having a hard time finding air to breath because of continuous laughing.
"I have a very beautiful girlfriend to be obsessed with, why the hell would I even think of being obsessed to you, panda" On this remark, the team just glanced at Anushka who was blushing hard and then again the focus was on the two stupids fighting for absolutely no reason.
"I know how amazing and beautiful my sister is and that's the reason I'm shocked that she said yes to a monkey like you" Rohit said and Anushka couldn't help but laugh.
"Mahi bhai, look at him. He is calling me Monkey" Virat complained
"And Mahi bhai, look at him also. He called me Panda" Rohit also complained.
"Let me tell you what you both are.. Donkeys" Jaddu said and the team laughed again.
"Now, you both shut up" Mahi bhai ordered and they both zipped their mouths.
"Vse Mahi bhai, Virat and Anushka's relationship will profit BCCI" Hardik said and everyone knew that he'll again have a stupid reason to say this.
"Why?" Yuzi asked.
"They'll have to book one less room now." He said and the team laughed.
"Sorry to disappoint you Harry but we won't profit BCCI. We'll still enjoy two seperate rooms" Virat said hitting Harry.
"So sad" Harry replied and after pulling each other's legs for another 10 minutes they went for practice.
