My dad accidentally killed my cat, Bob by running his car over her while pulling inside the driveway. Even after I stopped crying, he continued being depressed and remorseful. So he bought a rose plant sapling and planted it over Bob's grave since Bob loved roses. He said it helped him get over his guilt. Now I can't help but think about the lily plant that he bought the day my mom died.
