Scrubbing, and scrubbing, “this damn stain just won't go away '' Rachel set the sponge she was using down, she wiped her forehead sighing. She accidentally spilled wine on the carpet last night, though she completely forgot in the moment, being drunk and all, she is now facing the
consequences by having to scrub the hell out of this carpet.

She looked at her phone and saw
the multiple text messages from her mom, she opened the texts, typing a ‘whats wrong?’,she closed her phone and set it down, picking back up the sponge to continue scrubbing this neverending stain.

After a good 20 minutes of scrubbing she hears the ding of her ringtone, she
gets up and dusts off her knees, grabbing her phone she looks at her texts, it's from mom ‘rachel some weirdo is stalking my garden with their dog! Wait no its just my neighbor’, she
chuckled at the text ‘mom sometimes i think you need to go outside more’ , she closed her
phone again and her stomach grumbled “welp that's my que to take a break” she walked to her kitchen and made herself a sandwich and she ate she scrolled through her instagram, seeing her friends live amazing lives, partying, taking everything for granted, it made her sick.

As she finished her sandwich she laid her head on the table, staring at the bright red stain that won't go away. Suddenly the familiar ding of a message snaps her out of trance, she grabs her phone and looked at the text from luke, ‘hey babe we still up for tomorrow night?’ , smiling she wrote back, ‘yup! Cant wait to see you <3’ , she sent the message and stood up, she put her plate in
the sink and went to her room, completely ignoring the still blood red stain on the carpet.
