Vi's POV
I slid my hand onto a letter that landed on my doorstep. It had a red stamp on the front with the sign of a fancy 'K' on it. I wonder what that means. Curiosity getting the best of me, I opened the letter and it read:
Dearest Vi,
This letter has been sent to you to inform you that you have been invited to the Kiramman's annual ball . This event will take place on Tuesday the 7th.
The ball starts at 10 pm.
We sincerely hope you can make it.
The Kirammans
As soon as my eyes landed on the name Kiramman, my stomach did a flip . Kiramman is Caitlyn's last name...
I flipped the paper over and to my surprise, there was more writing , but it was more messy (though it still looks very fancy of you compare it to anybody else's writing-) and it said:
Dearest Vi,
Come to my house at 8pm so I can help you get ready.
You better not have anything planned.

As I finished reading, I could feel my mouth forming into a dorky smile. I could literally picture her voice in my head saying this.
For the rest of the days until Tuesday, I kept re-reading the back of the letter and fiddling with the paper in my hands.
