I don't know which one is awkward being in a car with my dad who doesn't know I'm pregnant at all or knowing that the fact I'm pregnant and to scared to tell my dad.
Y/n:"dad I have to tell you something and don't start going crazy well I mean it's explanatory"
Dad:"honey I'm always here for you so spill it"
Y/n:"I'm pregnant and the father is Nick" he slams on the breaks almost forgetting he had to stop at a red light
Dad:"first that asshole comes in my home and I trusted him and then he had sex with you without protection"
Y/n:"well don't think about it that way"
Dad:"what other way then"
Y/n:"there's plenty of other ways to think about it think of it as a positive thing" he stays quiet
Y/n:"Jesus dad all my life I spent was trying to make you happy but I'm not here on this earth to not only make you proud I wanna make myself proud to"
Dad:"you wanna be proud by having a baby at 26 by a 30 something year old man"
Y/n:"age is the only reason your like this ever stopped being so negative?"
He sighs
Dad:"I'm sorry do you truly want to keep this baby"
Y/n:"yes"
Dad:"I hope it looks more like you than him that's all I'm gonna say"
I chuckle.
