Heeseung covered Jake's eyes with his hands as he guided the younger out of his car

"Are you ready?" he whispered in Jake's year "yes!" answered Jake excitingly as Heeseung could sense his none existent tail wiggle, he chuckled at the boy's cuteness and slowly set his eyes free from his hands

Jake gasped inaudibly after seeing the beautiful view of the night city from above the mountain and his eyes widened at the delicious food displayed on a picnic blanket with fairy lights around it

"O my God, this is beautiful!" said Jake dazzled by the surprise his boyfriend set for him

"I'm glad you liked it Jakey, now let's eat and wait for the new year's countdown, hm?" Heeseung said holding Jake's hands which looked small compared to Heeseung's big hands

The puppy looking boy followed his boyfriend to the blanket and sat down on his lap

They both ate their food in a comforting silence while enjoying the night view and waited patiently for the new year's countdown afterward

"Hey look, the new year's countdown is starting in 20 seconds," Heeseung said after looking at the time on his phone

"10...9...8" .... "3...2...1, Happy new year!!!" they both shouted happily at the same time and hugged each other wishing a happy new year "Happy new year, my Jakey!" "happy new year to you too, Seungie"

Heeseung put one hand on Jake's cheek and pulled him in a kiss as Jake immediately responded bringing his arms around the older's neck bringing him closer as they both kissed each other lovingly and wished in their hearts to always stay by each other's side
