A/N:
this is honestly just a thank you note for every one of my readers who enjoy this story :)
it takes me a while to come up with ideas and plot twists to make it entertaining, so please don't comment things like "more please" or "update" immediately after i posted that chapter. i make the chapters and post them right after they're written, that's why i don't post every single day :)

We won.

The world felt at peace. When Thor snapped his fingers, almost immediately, Thanos' army began disintegrating one by one, turning to dust, never to be seen again.

There he was, the titan himself, Thanos. He sat down on a rock in defeat, sighing deeply before being snapped away. I stood up steadily, gazing at my surroundings.

"Stark, you good?" I look down, finding Tony still laid on his back.

"Yeah— just a few technical difficulties." He groans, sitting up. I offer out my hand for him to grab, which he takes to stand up. "Over there." Tony points to a body that was spread out on the floor.

I hastily run over to see if he had even survived the Snap. His chest was rising. Good, he was breathing. Now, how the hell do you wake up a god—

"Steve! I need you over here!" He must've been nearby because he arrived in the space of five seconds. "The hammer?" I look back and forth between the weapon and Thor's body.

"Oh— yeah, hold on—" I positioned my metal hand on his chest, and Steve placed the hammer in the centre of it. He clinks the two objects together, sending an electric current through to the god, making him regain consciousness.

"AGHH— where am I?"

"You're on Earth, Thor, at the Compound, remember?" Steve tells him, kneeling beside him, calming him down.

"Did we win?" Thor wheezed.

"Yeah... we won."

"I told you I could do it."

"Remember," Bruce clicks the suitcase open, showing the six stones. "You have to return the stones to the exact moment you got 'em or you're gonna open up a bunch of nasty alternative realities."

Steve shuts the case, gripping it in his hand. "Don't worry, Bruce."

"You know, I tried. When I had the gauntlet and the stones... I really tried to bring her back. I miss her, man."
