"Are you happy?" Natasha asks
"I don't know." Yelena says
"We only had a couple hours to find a dress and this one looks great." Natasha says
"Fine." Yelena says
"Since when are you insecure about how you look?" Natasha asks
"I want to impress Kate, even though she doesn't like me like that." Yelena says
"Awwh Yel, you look great, even if she doesn't feel the same way, she sure can agree on that you look amazing." Natasha says
"Thanks." Yelena says "So big date tomorrow?"
"Yes, and stop stalling we're going." Natasha says
Natasha and Yelena got in the car and drove to the dance, Yelena got out and went inside.
"Yel!" Kate says "Wauw you look amazing."
"Thanks, you look good too." Yelena says
"So Liz invited us to her afterparty, wanna come?" Kate asks
"Yeah, sure." Yelena says
After the dance ended Yelena drove with Kate to the afterparty, when they got inside there was loud music and it was crowded. MJ went off to see if Peter Parker was alone so she could talk to him, and Shuri walked somewhere else just like Kate. Yelena stood alone in the kitchen trying to calm down, it was crowded and she was alone. Someone tapped her shoulder and Yelena turned around and saw Kate standing behind her.
"You okay?" Kate asks
"A bit." Yelena says
"You seem off, for like a while." Kate says
"Everything is fine." Yelena says
"Are you sure?" Kate asks
"Umh, no." Yelena says
"What's wrong?" Kate asks
"This." Yelena says
She quickly moved to Kate and kissed her, she quickly pulled away after realizing what she did.
"Kate, I'm so sorry." Yelena says, but Kate started to walk away shocked. "Kate wait, please don't tell anyone."
Kate nodded and walked away, Yelena quickly walked outside and called Natasha to ask her to pick her up. After a while Natasha picked her up and they drove home in silence. When they arrived at Nick's house Yelena walked to her room.
"Yel, please tell me what happened." Natasha says
"It's dumb." Yelena says and got changed into a sweater and sweatpants.
"Please tell me." Natasha says and sat beside Yelena on her bed.
"I kissed Kate." Yelena says
"Oh, and then what happened?" Natasha asks
"She didn't say anything, she just walked away." Yelena says
"Poor thing." Natasha says and held her close and kissed her head.
"I ruined our friendship for sure." Yelena says
"I'm so sorry Yel." Natasha says

"You've only said that like a million times in an hour." Natasha says
"Because it's true." He says
"Thank you, you look very handsome." She says
"Thanks." He says
