Time-skip and First Kill

My face turned indifferent and cold as a thought suddenly emerged.

'There's no way to help. The moment she gave birth to me...she was destined to die. So the only way to help is to give mom, no Cecilia Silvamillion a...Painless Death. She's just a character I created anyways. Why should I care?'

'...' silence

'...!? What non-sense did I just thought!!' I yelled mentally as soon as my indifferent face returned to normal.

'...Weird' I was confused.

'This is my reality now...I won't ever play with other's lives, I will protect it! Mom will die in four years, a month after I turned five. I have four full years to train and get stronger!' I clenched my small fist, determined to get stronger. I failed to noticed that mom is looking for me but suddenly saw me clenched my fist with a serious face which led to a huge misunderstanding.

«There you are, Will! Worrying me like tha-- Oh, honey...are you having trouble taking a poopie?» mom squestioned me while sitting on the bed with a little paled face.

'What a timing! Mom! I about to begin my journey to become the greatest mage in this World! Do not make me out to be a constipated infant! I'm already 1 year-old!'

«...No mommy, no poopie.» I answered with an embarassed face»

'In order to be able to use my soon to awaken Dojutsu, I have to get stronger first or else I won't be able to use it efficiently. For the next 3 years, I will focus on controlling mana and increasing my mana pool. It's not good to do physical exercise now as I it will do more harm than goods to my body.' 

'If my memoriy serves me right, the protagonist is born with a unique magic called 'Creation Magic' like his mother, but in order to activate it, he needs a mana core or a material. The stronger the material, the better the product.'

Creation magic also has other functions but that's for later.

I will train secretly starting from tomorrow and also spend more time with mom.

A year have passed since I started training.

I didn't make a huge progress on controlling mana. As for my 'mana-pool' capacity, It increased but not by a large margin. If I were to compare it with the mana-core, my mana-pool is no less than Dark-Red stage. With mana-core, the lighter the colour the user is at, the more control over mana is increased along with the increase in the mana capacity.

Whereas, my mana-pool doesn't need the purification process. I only need to continuously deplete my mana, in order to increased my mana capacity. As to increase the control over mana, only practice or training is requied.

The cons of having a large mana-pool is that, it is more demanding to control it efficiently.

That's that for a year of training.

As for my mom's condition, she's been coughing more or less ten times a day and she took longer to hunt two to three animals.

My heart ache seeing my mom's current condition, but I have to be strong as her condition will get a lot worse...

I am now a 3 year-old...child.

I am close to reach the mastery stage on controlling mana. My mana pool can also be estimated to be at the stage of Mid-Orange, mana-core standard. Thanks to my hard work at depleting my mana every night without getting caught.
