He came running toward me with a gun in his hand
I stood in front of Jahseh and yelled Rakims name
"Rakims calm down and put the fucking gun down" i added
He reached us and got in my face
"So u just gonna ignore me like that and hang around other men" he spät
"Uh not tryna start something but you cheated on me, you and Carter threw me out and THEN I met him" i pointed at Jahseh
Rakim clenched his fists and then sighed "you know what you are right I started this" he paused for a second
"But did you fuck him?" He asked
I looked at him in disbelief not thinking he actually cared about anything I did the past few days
He was just mad because he got ignored by me
"No Rakim I met him fucking two days ago he's just a friend of mine"
I said trying not to sound too frustrated
"Alright I'm sorry, can we talk in private please?" He asked looking around a little
I nodded
"Yea since you're already here"
We went to my hotel room in complete silence and it wasn't s comfortable silence at all
We reached my room and I sat down on my bed waiting for him to talk
I didn't expect much to come out from this conversation
"So what is it Rakim?" I asked because he took his time to start talking
He sat down on the chair in front of the bed
"Okay so I don't expect you to forgive me or come back to me again, just hear me out so I can get everything off my chest" he started, i nodded
"Since you left I felt very guilty and couldn't stand the thought that I did really hurt your feelings" another pause
"You know Rakim, you maybe did hurt me but in the end it was a lesson for me, i learned to be more careful and aware of everything a little more"
He sighed softly
"I don't think it was a lesson you should have learned this way" he said
"Maybe not" I agreed
"But now it's too late anyway"
"Aaliyah i realized how much I love you, I wanna make up for what I have done ONLY if you let me, it's your choice" he said and looked at me with pleading confidence

"Did you talk to Carter about this?"
I asked
"Yea I did, he wants to make up for his actions as well"
I nodded
"I'm willing to take it slow with you two, i am going to stay here for a while but we can hang out and all that i just don't want to rush it aight"i said
"Alright sounds good" he said looking at me really intense
"I'm gonna call Jahseh to explain this whole mess" i said and got up
"alright I'm gonna go back home Yams and I are working on a new song so I gotta hit the studio again" Rakim explained
"Alright I'll see you around" I smiled awkwardly and he left
I sat back down on my bed and called Jahseh
"Hey Jah can we meet up at the hotel again i wanna explain and apocalypse for earlier...alright see ya"
I went down to the lobby and sat down on one of the comfortable seats
Like 5 minutes after that Jahseh sat down next to me
"Hey Jah"
"Hi Aaliyah everything alright?" He asked
"Yea im really sorry for what Rakim pulled back there that probably scared you I mean I WAS scared af" i explained
He laughed
" I was more scared for you I thought he was gonna shot you before he calmed down" he said
"Nah he would never he would rather shoot himself than me" i said
"You know he's my ex boyfriend Rakim..." "oh yea I know him 'A$AP Rocky" Jahseh interrupted me
"Wait you know him?" I said and leaned forward
"Yes we were on stage together before" Jahseh explained
"Really? But why didn't you two talk when he was coming at us with his gun and all" i asked
"Well idk he seemed pretty focused on you" he answered
"Okay damn I didn't expect y'all to know each other at all"
Jahseh laughed
"It's not a big deal" he said
"You wanna go eat some nice dinner tonight and tell me all about the fucking drama that went on between you and A$AP?" He asked
"You mean dress up nicely and eat at a fancy restaurant?" I asked
Jahseh nodded
"Yea I wanna get to know you better" he smiled
"Alright yea sure " i smiled back
