I have no excuses to my updating schedule... Just that in some aspects of life I suck.
"Welcome to your third week of competition!" Hunters voice rang out through Aloha Stadium. "I am sure you are curious of what our next set of challenges are gonna be. But first let me re-introduce out competing couples. High school sweethearts Jack and Jordan. Unbreakable lovers Chance and Taylor. And Finally, we have our temperamental couple Kevin and Lansing."
All the couples were placed on a stage in the middle of Aloha Stadium surrounded by cameras.
"Today" Hunter continued, "we have an exciting line up of challenges. First each couple will be handed their own activity scratch off map. After completing a task, the couple will then scratch off the associated space. After completing all tasks the scratched off surface will disclose the final mission location. The first two teams to make it all the way to the final mission will be safe and headed off to the finals. For the third team, they'll have to pack their bags because they are not the best couple."
After Hunter's long speech, Sarah passed out the scratch off maps and handed us all a backpack with necessities and car keys.
"Well I guess we should start with number one." I suggested
"Or we could be cool cats and start in the middle." Tsukasa laughed. I just gave him the death glare. "Or we could start at number one." He shrugged my glare off. "By the way, you look really pretty today Lansing."
"Save it for someone who cares." I spat back disgusted by his amused face. "Now give me the keys, I'm driving."
"Aww but I wanna drive the car." A voice sounding like a whining four year old hit me upside the head. So I repaid him by hitting him upside the head.
"I don't trust your driving skills so cough it up."
Reluctantly, Tsukasa handed me the car keys and we jumped into our assigned car. I revved the engine and we were off to our first checkpoint.
Following the GPS, we ended up at a public school where different tents were set up in front of the building.
"Welcome challenges to your next set of challenges. As you can see, there are numerous tents set up. Each tent has a different puzzle to solve. Today we will be testing your teamwork and athleticism." Hunter explained. "There are a total of four puzzles and each couple must complete each event before they can move to the next tent. The last couple to complete each event will be eliminated."
That sounded easy enough.
"However, each puzzle will become more challenging so remember you must work together to succeed."
"And this is only the first block." Tsukasa whispered in my ear. An odd shiver ran down my spine.
As we entered the first tent I was surprised to see the first challenge.
"Math!?" I questioned out loud.
We turned to face each other. You could say we both had the same thought run through our minds.
"Crap."
