"I'll go down in a blaze of fire and glory"
"Hey slow down your going to get us lost" Angelina laughs chasing after Carl
"We won't get lost I promise just trust me" Carl smiles gabbing the girl by the hand
They stop when they reach a lake. The water so beautiful Angelina never thought there could be anything so mesmerizing left in this world— so pure.
"Wow, this is beautiful" Angelina says softly looking at the boy
"Not more beautiful than you" he replies
"Ugh you're such a cheese" she says laughing with the boy
They walk onto the dock that leads to the water and Angelina looks at Carl gazing deeply into those damn blue eyes that could outshine a thousand suns. She kisses him and pulls away with a smile
"You're going to hate me" he says looking into her eyes
"Wha"-
Angelina is cut off by Carl pushing her into the water a loud shriek escaping her mouth. She submerges from the water pushing back her hair
"Carl! What if I couldn't swim" she laughs
Carl smiles at the girl and crouches down
"Well then I would have had to save you" he smiles
"Help me out it's cold" she puts her hand out and Carl takes it only to be pulled into the water with her. Angelina laughs until she feels Carl throw her over his shoulder and loud laugh erupting from her
"Carl put me down!" She says
They reach the land and he sets her down and kisses her she smiles into the kiss and puts her hand on his chest.
When she opens her eyes...... he's gone
"Carl?!" She shouts
"Angelina?!"
"Angelina!"
"Angelina wake up! Please please wake up!" Carl shouts to the unconscious girl
She slowly opens her eyes and only hears gunfire and Carl sobbing above her, Enid and Henry beside him she feels an excruciating pain in her left shoulder. Carl picks up the small girl and begins running towards the kingdom's infirmary.
He throws open the door and sets her on the table
"You need to help her please! please! She needs to live!" He sobs

Carl's POV
When Angelina walks away from me I watch as she laughs with Enid enjoying the sight of her happy, seeing her laughing and smiling filling me with happiness of my own.........
Until I hear the gunshot and my world begins to go in slow motion. I watch as the love of my life falls to the ground blooding soaking threw her white shirt. I run towards her and catch her before she can hit the ground
"No! No! No please Angelina please! Don't do this please don't leave me!" Carl shouts to the unconscious girl
"Angelina! Angelina! Please wake up!" She slightly opens her eyes as I pick her up and run as fast as my legs could take me towards the infirmary. I place her down onto the table and beg for help.
"Son you need to get out of here, she going to need surgery" The doctor says
Carl falls to his knees as he feels a pair of arms wrap around him
