Chapter 42 - Sokovia

You sat with the twins on the Quinjet and then you were off.

"Hi, I'm Y/N. You're Wanda and Pietro right?" You introduced yourself

"Yes, that is correct, how did you know?" Pietro asked, his voice thick with his Sokovian accent

"She has mind magic, like me" Wanda answered for me and a smile

"You read her mind?" He asked Wanda

"No, I can't see into your mind, why is that?" She asked you

"Im Asgardian like Thor and have trained to be able to put up shields around my mind" You tried not to let the memory of Loki choke you up. So much had gone on today that you hadn't thought about him much. You couldn't let it get to you now. Now you had to focus on saving the world

"So you can do other things too?" Pietro asked

"Yeh. Telekinesis, teleportation, healing, illusions, conjuring...stuff like that" You explained

"That is a lot of magic!" Wanda exclaimed

"I had a good teacher" You sighed. "I'm going to have a nap. Wake me when we get there?" You asked of them and they nodded so you leaned back and fell to sleep

You were woken by Wanda just as you were landing in Sokovia

"Alright, listen up team, '' Steve announced. Ah you missed his pep talks. "The people of Sokovia didn't sign up for a fight, they're innocents in this affair. So, everyone who isn't going for Ultron straight out, evacuate the people first and fast. We want to keep civilian casualties at a minimum, ideally none at all. Alright guys, let's head out!"

You were on evacuating people from the middle of the city where the big fight was going to go down because you could use your shields to protect them. So you headed straight there while everyone else got on with their own missions.

People weren't taking it seriously at first but when the fighting started and Ultrons robots started attacking the city, they were soon moving their asses to get out of the city.

"Ultrons burnt out of the internet" FRIDAYs voice came over the comms. Now that JARVIS was in Vision, Tony had to use one of his back up AIs.

Then the whole city began to shake. You had to steady yourself to stop from falling over at first but then it settled down

"Guys, what was that?" You asked over the comms

"Sokovia's going for a ride" FRIDAY sounded nervous. Like hella nervous. The city of Sokovia had started to rise into the air

You crushed five bots with your shields like you did with the first Ultron bot as you teleported the last of the inner civilians off the now floating platform.

"Alright, that's the last of the inner civilians, where do you want me next?" You asked the team

"Keep destroying the bots. If a single one gets out its game over" Steve told you over the comms

You went to the edge of the now floating city to catch any of the bots trying to fly off while the team argued about the best way to handle the floating city situation

You stayed on the ground rather than flying after the bots to conserve your magic.

You destroyed bot after bot with ease. Squashing them within your shields or growing a shield from inside it and expanding it, exploding them

"We're all clear here!" Clint came over the comms

"Far from clear at the edge, they're still trying to make a break for it!" You called back over the comms as you did a 2 for 1 on a pair of bots
