"elmo, i love you but we can't be together." kermit whispered.
"if you loved me, you would pick me." elmo said, tears in his eyes.
"hey, no, i wanna pick you but-"
"but you love Miss Piggy. You love Miss Piggy more so you pick her. You'll always love Miss Piggy more. You'll always pick her." elmo said, pain evident in his teary eyes. The worst part was that Kermit didn't deny it. Kermit would always pick Ms Piggy. Kermit would always pick Ms Piggy and elmo would always be the second choice. It wasn't fair because Ms Piggy left Kermit when he really needed her, but elmo stayed. Elmo gave everything to Kermit but Kermit still wouldnt pick him. Elmo had fallen so deeply in love with kermit that he chose to ignore the fact that KErmit didnt care. He ignored how he knew Kermit would always pick her. Elmo knew but he denied it because he wanted to be happy, it was pathetic.
"Im sorry." Kermit said as Ms Piggy walked in.
"Hey honey!" Ms Piggy said, giving Kermit a kiss.
And that was it. Kermit and Elmo were done.
Kermit didn't care, and Elmo cared too much.
