You sat impatiently at the table, fidgeting with your fingers.
Your boyfriend rick sat across from you.
"So... are you going to say anything?" He said.
"Well- I just did" You look up at him.
"Yeah, yeah" He laughed. "Sure you did".
"Rick, I just told you what I had to say!" You said.
"So what do you want me to do about it?" He scoffed.
"I want you to understand" You say. "I cant be with you anymore"
"Why?" He looked at you straight in the eyes. "Beacuse of what your parents had to say, they took one look at me and said im not for you, how do you think that makes me feel, huh" He raised his voice a little.
"I understand completely" You say. He looks at you and looks away shaking his head slowly. "I just I cant be, involved in all of this, I-its to much for me and I have to do what's best".
"Fine" He slams his beer down. "I would have thought you didnt care what your parents would say about use, but IguessI was wrong" he gets up and walks away.
